  3. bijeli and jette and lollypop, that's pretty much the same conclusion i came up with but couldn't even come close to putting it in words, sounds good, thanks guys
  4. ok here's one of those weird math things that don't seem to make sense, i know someone on this board has had to have heard of this one somewhere, now it isn't really the absolute right wording, but it should give you the gist of it. if anyone has heard this one and knows the answer, help out, i wanna look smart in front of my friend, haha. 3 friends decided to share a room for the night. the concierge at the hotel told them that it would be 30 dollars to stay there for 1 night. so the friends split the rent 3 ways, paying 10 dollars each. the concierge later found out that the rent had changed that day and was only 25 dollars, instead of 30. so he walked back to the guys' room to bring back the 5 dollars. on the way however, he decided he was hungry and kept two of the 5 dollars that he had, giving the guys back only 3 dollars total. so the guys split the 3 dollars 3 ways, so that each of them got a dollar, taking one dollar off of what they paid each. so essentielly they paid 9 dollars each. if you take their 9 dollars mulitiplied 3 ways you get 27 dollars. add the two dollars that the concierge took for food and you get 29 dollars. what happened to the extra dollar?
  5. make trade fair........................ the question no one's asked in this sexual discussion, how much does size matter really?
  6. i always liked the ring that "Ok Computer" had to it, and really wanted my name to be okplayer, but it's already an organization that i found out about thanks to ben kinney's from incubus's t-shirt. well i was learning about the classical appeals in writing: logos, ethos, and pathos; in my critical thinking class, and after hearing my teacher just tear up how unnecessary pathos was, i thought of instances in writing when pathos was ok to use, alas, we have okpathos

  12. always wanted to get some kind of bird outline looking thingy across the chest, but can't ever really commit to anything, plus parents would go crazy. alotta kickboxers however have the craziest tattoos.
  13. Radiohead I Might Be Wrong - Live Recordings True Love Waits can't get enough of it
  14. of course, chris martin, thom yorke, and jeff buckley. always enjoyed billy corgan's voice, and really like john mayer for some odd reason. on the other hand i reallly don't like the live voices of the guy from snowpatrol and the guy from the doves
  15. Warning Sign, been my anthem for a good while now
  16. yeah i get that "coldplay's depressing" all the time! but nothing gets me going more than chris's, or the audience more often when watching DVD, belting "yeeeeeeeaaaaaah, how long must you wait for it?" Yeeeeeaaaaaaaaah....... and if anyone hasn't been made fun of or felt the coldplay hate, try posting on the coachella board, or any indie rock board for that matter. buncha guys who probably liked coldplay before they "soldout" and got commercial. only radiohead can be successful and still make good music for some of these guys
  17. pumpkins are pretty much what brought me into rock, up until then i was listening to garbage, mostly kiis fm, for any of you LA listeners who know how horrible that is. granted i was only in the 6th grade, under the shelter of a christian school, but mellon collie and thie infinite sadness really got me going to good music. and "disarm" still strikes a chord with me every time i hear it
  18. okpathos posted a topic in Coldplay
i remember reading somewhere else on this forum speculating about coldplay's 5 spot, sorry for not remembering who. Anyways he/she was saying how in the past 2 albums the track #5 was reserved for a very strong song/single, i.e. yellow, and clocks. now that we have the official tracklisting, we know that "talk" has the 5 spot on X and Y. knowing that most of you guys have heard the single, how do you think it'll hold up? especially to its predecessors?
  19. the news report on the main page for this doesn't have any links for MTV USA??
  20. my french is a bit rusty but it seems like she changed the lyrics a bit in a few places? french speakers confirm?
  21. so it's been posted that franz ferdinand and rilo kiley might be the opening acts for Coldplay's US leg of their 05 tour. whaddya guys think? i'm sure there's a lot of us who're franz ferdinand fans already, seein the both of them on the same night would be unbelievable, but rilo kiley? i've just recently heard some of their stuff from the new album, "portions for foxes" is quite catchy
