  2. germaphobes......hehe on the contrary i almost never bleach things, and i'm still pretty healthy. i did watch a thing on mythbusters where they tested the whole toothbrush bacteria thing, and there was bacteria from the toothbrushes near the flushed toilet, but there was also bacteria on the "control" toothbrushes that were in a separate room, w/o a toilet, so.......just live people..hehe
  3. yeah i voted for kerry too, but i'm a 19 year old turning 20, it's easy for me to be against bush. for the other americans though, i don't think they saw enough in kerry to sway them from what they're comfortable with in bush
  4. listen to their new single, "middle of nowhere" "....you didn't have to do it but you did it to say, that you didn't have to do it but you would anyway....." real catchy
  5. some news here from greenplastic.com "EXCLUSIVE! The band recently got together in the studio to play through new material, with reportedly 15 songs that they are working on with two of them described as "already done and amazing." They are in high spirits and happy to be playing together. The band first got together back in January and Thom played a bunch of his new songs for the others. Having never heard the songs before, the rest of the band just jumped in and started adding their own parts. The whole recording process has been described as "unorganized" and very different than the way Radiohead has recorded before. We've been told that the new album should be finished by December with a release date in Feburay or March 2006. Touring will possibly begin in February 2006. We'll have more information very soon..." hope i catch em on tour if they come round here to the US

  10. they sneaked in an f-bomb on SNL this past weekend
  11. jeff buckley's hallelujah's a real good one the scientist as well how about radiohead's true love waits, well, actually......
  12. that's very similar if not exactly the same as the setlist they played at coachella, though i'm sure that they'll make changes according to how fans respond to the album?
  13. so here's a little time-waster to show how off/funny babelfish can get. take your favorite phrase, quote, or for the purpose of this board, your favorite coldplay lyric and then translate it from english to french. take the french translation and translate it into german. then take that german translation and put it back in english and see what you get. cliff notes: english to french french to german german to english example: normal: look at the stars, look how they shine for you babelfished: the view holds the first role the view on, as they shine for you normal: oh give me love over this babelfished: the love gives me the OH over this normal: you came along and you cut me loose babelfished: They came the length, and you cut me loosely yeah it can be kinda dumb, but for those of us who have nothing to do...... p.s. you can find babelfish at altavista.com, just find the translate link
  14. look at the stars, look how they shine for you, and everything that you do, and it was COACHELLA! (2005) awesome awesome performance
  15. seems just like a troller to me, first post and it's filled with hate towards coldplay....... a little fishy
  16. i was there, i'm pretty sure he said low, in any case, whatever he introduced it as the song he played was low

  20. i really connected w/Garden State and i really enjoyed Almost Famous, as well as Before Sunrise and i don't think that Ghost would be considered a realistic drama
  21. yes pinkerton and the blue album......... i was at coachella, weezer played old and new songs, and i've gotta say their old stuff greatly outshadowed all of their new songs
  22. yes, second on U2's with or without you, one of my definite favorites. as far as coldplay, besides the obvious ones, i really like sparks and what about maps, from the yeah yeah yeahs...."wait........they don't love you like i love you..."
  23. oh man i really liked these guys when they came out
  24. anything really by kanye's good, even some of the ones he doesn't rap on. but yeah the state of the radio now is just......eck. rock stations are going down, and every other station that isn't rock is turning to hip-hop. luckily in LA we have a good 4 or 5 rock stations, with different variety's, KROQ which plays almost every kind of rock, then there's indie, classic, hard/metal. but all the other stations have turned into 80% hip hop, w/ashley simpson or britney spears on the side
