with U2 people arriving at 6.30 could get fairly near the front.Ill prolly go in at 5.30. id expect to get quite far down.

Doors at 4? Weird.Doors for U2 were at 5 and they were on at 8.25.Hampden has a 10.30 curfew so they cant be on till 10.40. I reckon you could still walk down to the front at 7 o'clock.

A group for teenage girls to scream at? I remember way back at the beginning teenage girls would have gone nowhere near Coldplay because they were indie and quite dark and heavy.Now theyre almost like the new Backstreet Boys-what is going on? Im scared when i go to their upcoming concert im going to be surrounded by fainting girls!

Yes it does,Britain is their home concerts and also Britain is better than everywhere else in Europe so they should get a bigger stage.

Noel is a better songwriter and recently a better singer than all of the rest of Oasis put together.I think the split could see him releasing a classic solo album. The group Oasis died a long time ago but Noel has never died.

I have to agree with the original poster.If you look at Parachutes and AROBTTH compared to VLV its night and day.Parachutes and AROBTTH are heavy and filled with great riffs and heavy lyrics.With VLV all we have is pop with butterflies on the stage and stupid constumes etc.Im sad because Coldplay used to be one of my favourite bands in the world and id do anything to get a ticket to one of their shows.Now im not to bothered about getting one for their upcomming concert near me. :-(

Im scared im going to be really dissapointed with the stage.The Claw was just amazing and the best thing ive ever seen.Im scared im going to be dissapointed in Coldplay after U2.

Ill probably go to the Hampden gig i only live 10min walk away.I havent bought tickets yet but there still seems to be a lot left.Ill take a couple of days off work too.Im a bit worried though as i was at U2 at Hampden and it was utterly stunning,the best concert ive ever been at.Im worried ill be really dissapointed by Coldplay compared to it.Ive seen them 2wice already though once at Bellahouston in 2005 and once at the SECC in 2003 and they were really good.

I saw U2 on Tuesday night and i am absolutely stunned by the 360 show.The stage and lighys are incredibile and the music from U2 is just amazing.I was completely blown away by the whole concert.The video clips on youtube really dont do the concerts any justice.Easily the best concert ive ever been to in my life!

I agree with this.See You Soon and even Ladder To The Sun have got more genius in it than the whole of VLV put together.I dont know why this is or how.I was listening to the acoustic version of Lost and its a lot better than the album version.I wonder if the magic has almost been produced out of the songs.Theres definitely a rawness and soul that has been lost in the new stuff. Its sad,ive been to loads of Coldplay concerts in my time and think they have been some of the best ive been too.I even met Chris Martin as i wrote on here but with the latest concerts im not that bothered in going to :-( Everything just seems so over produced and "unraw" these days.

I dont know,when i first heard Coldplay they had weird chord changes and interesting melodies.Listen to I Bloom Blaum,I Ran Away and songs from that era and theyre all stunning.I just listen to stuff on VLV like Lost and LIJ and think this is incredible bland. Although i do love the song VLV and DAAHF

Im not trying to be funny or start a flame war or anything,but im just listening to Parachutes here and its genius!!!!!! I dont what happened with VLV but its quite easily their worst album,its so mainstream and bland.It makes me really sad :-(

Im a massive U2 fan and love nealy all of their stuff,cant believe how bad boots is thougg,Just dont know what they were thinking.

Its a strange song,doesnt really make sense.I hope it grows a lot because just now it sounds like a "bad Elevation".
