  1. Yesterday all my troubles seemed so far away.
  2. I've listened to it 146 times now on my ITunes. It's amazing!
  3. Everything about it is perfect. I think it's the best song on.an album since MX.
  4. The song is amazing. End of thread and no more fighting!
  5. I think the song is about the last supper and then Christ dying on the cross. The first part shows how they are looking into the sky during the last meal then how Christ is on the cross and talking to his father, God. So Spiritual.
  6. Fairly crazy scores. Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
  7. I bet Radiohead fans love it! :-) Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
  8. Yeah, I said in a previous post I thought it might be splitting fans of their older stuff and newer stuff. Apart from the synths and electronic drums, the more downtone nature and songwriting I believe is closer to their earlier stuff (Oceans reminds me of Careful Where You Stand for example). 9. Yep. How can music be ranked anyway? One persons great album can be another's worst ever. Its all subjective. Just strange how it can bring out such fight in people. Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
  10. Yeah, I don't know what's going on with them, I wish they'd hurry up! Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
  11. I like your name, one of my favorite U2 songs. :-) Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
  12. Agreed. Really crass and awful. Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
  13. I agree GS is a great song, wouldn't have been out of place on the album. I'm wondering if GS(the album) is perhaps splitting new and older fans, I think the newer fans who only know Coldplay for their sugary pop stuff from their last two albums might be a bit dissapointed whereas older fans who like them for their older bsides and more introverted songs will "get" GS more. 14. I really love it too. Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
  15. All Your Friends sounds quite Pop era U2 to me. Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
  16. Round 1: MX/HLH (very, very close) Round 2: Magic Round 3: Ink Round 4: True Love (By Far) Round 5: Midnight (ETIAW is bland dull and uninspiring) Round 6: Major Minus Round 7: Oceans Round 8 : A Sky Full Of Stars (very close) Round 9: O Ghost Stories : 7 Mylo Xyloto : 2 GS is just so far superior to MX sonically, depth wise and melodically. 17. GS is quite good, more upbeat and guitary. I'm not getting All Your Friends. O2 is an instrumental which sounds nothing like O. They're bsides and you can tell why they're not on the album although Ghost Stories perhaps could have been. Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
  18. The Target songs? No there's not, its leaked. Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
  19. Its a really great hook, possibly one of the best he'd written in a song (assuming he wrote it) quite an intelligent hook. Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
  20. The piano change in O kills me, I want to cry everytime I hear it. Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
  21. Yes but part 2 doesn't really sound like it and its just and instrumental. Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
  22. Hmmmmm the new songs are OK for extra tracks or bsides but they're nothing great. Ghost Stories is quite good. Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
  23. Its Martin back to being vulnerable and open just like on Parachutes and AROBTTH. That's what made their music so endearing in the first place. The whole jumping around like a lunatic wearing neon clothes in a stadium full of light up wrist bands just didn't do it for me. Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
  24. Interesting how there can be such diverse opinions on one album. Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
  25. I'm surprised how many people hold VLV in such high esteem. That album for me is when I started to lose interest in Coldplay, far too sugary and not much depth to it. Id struggle to listen to it now. Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
