Its really not a great album. There are some classics like HLH and CB but the rest are fairly avarage 5/10 i would say.

Bought tickets off of Ebay for the HMV Apollo on Sunday. Paid 128 for. Not too bad but its cleaned me out for this month,just couldnt resist! Cant wait now!

Car Kids was originally to be on in place of UIF but then Chris wrote UIF and they all agreed it should be on instead. Car Kids was taken off at a very late stage.

Interestingly i think Hurts Like Heaven sounds great BUT stuff like ParaPara and Teardrop and most of the other stuff is dripping in radio friendliness, million dollar production and autotune. It sounds like everything else on the radio today.

This without a doubt.

Its so,so sugary! Its like the sweetest syrupyest candy ever! They seriosuly need to ditch Eno and get a rawer sound.

1.HLH- Great Song, one of Coldplays best 2.CB- Another great song again one of their best. 3. MM- Yet another great song but production is messed up, better live and raw. 4. UWTB- Brill 5. DLIBYH-Good but lacking something. 6. UIF- Sounds half finished, needed more work. 7. UFO- Nice song but more b-side material, really worthy of an album? 8. UATW- Good song but doesnt really go anywhere. 9. ETIAW- Catchy but not great. 10. Paradise- Dobt mind it but again not great. 11. POC- Oh dear. All in all a strange album some really great tunes like HLH and CB but some really bad ones like Paradise and POC. It all sounds a bit too polished, sickly sweet, radio friendly and over produced.

And an Africa charity hidden track with Bono.

Maybe the leaked version and the final versions are different?

This. Radio versions always sound different because if the compression. This whole unfinished album stuff is absurd!! Its quite clearly finished and mixed perfectly.

Oh my God people we have the final version.EMI are trying to protect their revenue by saying this. The versions are all the same!
