First of all, I must say this year I completely felt in love with this band and I find all their music wonderful, so maybe I'm not the most objective person... but let's give it a try haha :D My ranking is based on what the albums make me feel and what they mean to me, since every album brings me particular memories of particular moments of my life. I think they can't compare with each other because they all have a different kind of music. For example, I can't compare Parachutes with MX. They have opposite styles, but it doesn't mean one is better than the other one. Or what about VLV? I find it like an island of very special and unique music... I can't compare it to anything! However, I think AROBTTH is the exception... it's a rock alternative masterpiece, that's why I put it on number 1 :arobtth: Concerning to AHFOD, think this is a great album. It has so many powerful songs. We needed something like this after GS dark style. Maybe it's underrated because this is actually a commercial-pop album and some people seem to hate that... I respect them, but I find it awesome :cool:

Merry Xmas to everybody! I couldn't come here earlier... hope you all had a very good Christmas Day with your family and friends :) This year I didn't receive any Coldplay gift because my family doesn't know what else to give me haha! I already have all the CD collection and In Spain there isn't much CP merchandising at stores (practically nothing)... besides, my parents don't usually buy things on internet... so no CP for me this time haha :laughing: PD: I've been listening to this song like 34546 times... love it!

I actually prefer the original version... this song is wonderful in that way, with all that awesome sound effects, the chorus, etc. I also think this video is a little bit boring. However, it's always a pleasure to see my dear Chris singing and playing the piano like an angel haha

Now I'm listening to 25 (Adele). One of my favourite albums of all time. Pure magic.

I can't believe AHFOD is 1 year old... it's amazing how time flies. This year has been probably one of the hardest ones of my whole life, but without Coldplay and Coldplaying I'm sure it would have been much more difficult. AHFOD has been my light on during all this darkness :) Happy birthday AHFOD! :D

Yeah, normally I use their music in that way too, but what I meant is that sometimes I have this weird sad feeling when I listen to certain songs... don't know exactly why! The thing is I tend to be very pessimistic... but you're totally right. I should be grateful for the opportunity to have lived that experience. Thanks for your kind words :)

Sometimes when I feel emotional or fragile I avoid listening CP songs. I'm afraid that they make me cry, because their music touches me so deeply that I don't think my heart is going to handle those feelings when I'm down. I also avoid watching their videos when I'm upset. They bring me so many wonderful memories and give me so many good vibes... and I'm afraid of not going to live that again. I wish life would be as wonderful as a CP concert... I know all of this sounds crazy haha but I needed to talk about it. Have this ever happened to you?

I can totally understand what you say. Coldplay is like a safe place to go when eveything else goes wrong. I also feel the same way: I have a lot to thank them, more than to many people I acually know... it would be awesome if we could let them know how important they are for us. Hope you get better so soon! And remember that no matter what happens, one day the sun will come out :)
