Currently I'm waiting for my civilian service to start in mid-septembre. After that I'm going to study physics in hamburg and in two years or so I hope I get accepted by the Lufthansa for pilot-training. Sound intresting! So good look that you will get accepted to the pilot- training. I have to go to school this year, and then (if I pass the matura) go to university.

I like English, but I don't think I'm not very good at it. I'm doing a Cambridge Certificate in advanced English, I hope that will improve my English a bit.

There are many subjects in school you don't need for the later life ;-) I'm not so good in languages either, but since we had to have at least one language-examination I picked ancient greek as my third written examn *dup* well, at least it was pretty funny ;-) Sounds difficult. I probably would have taken German or English. The rest would be too difficult. What are you doing now?

It's better than our system anyway. We could only choose two subjects. The rest of the subjects are the same fo everybody.

Sure I understand. I think the German system is better than ours. I would never choose Spanish or French for my matura exam coz I'm not very good in languages. And I wasn't intersted in biology either. Won't need this subject after I left school.

Cool. :) I don't know much about music unforunately. :embarrased: I just love listening to music. And I can play the piano, but not very good. :/

I only have passed the Matura in two subjects. There will be exams in German, Frech, Spanish, English and mathematics in summer. When will you have your Abitur?

French music yes...but there's not much Italian music in our charts. Maybe because you only speak Italian in a very small part of our country. :/

No, I haven't heard the Swiss charts for a while. Normally Swiss people have almost the same music taste like German people (at leat if you look at the charts).

I will :) Btw I received the results of the Matura exams this week. I'm pretty happy with it. In biology it's a four and in economics a six. (1 is the worst mark, 6 the best) It's better than I expected. :)
