1. During GPASUYF/Talk mashup that was actually Jazzy (A or B - goodness knows but anyway a Jazzmaster) because of several reasons: only Jazzmasters were spotted with such swirls on both sides of the logo (mainly Vintage 60s line, think?) and you can see the guitar's headstock on MTV World Stage's performance, and also, think, Matt would list Jaguar if there were any in his book in the chapter where he talks about the Viva tour gear, instead there were 2 Vintage Jazzmasters. Other than that visually guitar pickups there look slightly broader rather than on any Jaguar and typical rod-like controller but all's not a fact that you won't find Jaguar look-alike, so trusting logo here only lol (attached some picture with the logo so it would be clear abou which swirls I'm talking)
2. And actually how the song starts (there was a car scareeching at the beginning and here car honking) and all these jazzy+experimental elements reminded of Roxy Music's "Remake / Remodel"! Love this genius and hwo much he inspired band back then
3. Now I feel like the tweet about tweeting for once in 4 years was seen :joy: Actually, that's the best ever surprise to get prior the single release, iconically him, unbelievably great he appeared like this
4. Does it mean that it will be in general not earlier than the second part of 2020? View: https://twitter.com/lovebuttonorg/status/1187051369787609089
5. Well, it will look like this anyway because that's Pilar Zeta's style with gradients, metal textures, astronomical symbols (clocks for countdown included), some likeness in picking the fonts, so goodness knows, maybe there was a purpose to preserve signature style with all of that because, maybe. her usual abstract artstyle doesn't go with music at all, who knows.
6. Don't know, maybe I'm absolutely biased and wrong but I think Jon wasn't just joking about tweeting once in 1911 4 years ago, actually, his first tweet was in 2011; now I have a strong feeling that they've been rummaging around implementing the idea of XX century past + present connection since around MX era lol Well, maybe it's just now that everything looks suspicious and connected
7. Yes + they don't have :moon::sunrise: icons on the preview (only Warner's logo) in the left corner, so we dont count them in
8. Thought about the same, too! But if not directly quoting, then, at least, referencing to the same stories/topics of each songs looking at the brighter and darker sides of them?
9. A L I E N S, Yellow, Up&Up, Paradise, The Hardest Part, The Scientist, Violet Hill, LiT ii
10. Yes, though, the rest of the bodies except the heads is exactly the same, that's true, I understood the point about fake now. That's very much in artist's (either photographer's or Pilar's) vein here
11. No, that's too much in the nature of Jonny posing like that, so surely not faked, also, think, the light was shifted there a bit
12. I know about R42's account but he barely would post such Jon-related stuff, I was about Matt McGinn's instagram account! It was really once public, he didn't post there for a very long time, didn't actually have any related to Coldplay photos (except one about the letter) but back in last year's December he posted Jon's Les Paul and then a photo of Sunny and himself in the studio.
13. Jon's expression looks different and posture isn't the same though. He was the only one who actually made me notice the difference in photos at all lol
14. Makes SO much sense now with how Matt posted (well, not much later making an account private, unfortunately) about dusting off Jon's Les Paul giving it a proper runout and fans spotted Chris' No Me Llores acoustic guitar much later in one of the videos!
15. somehow if only attending concerts then how do they know the address? But, yes, goes altogether, of course... And what about the ones that received framed photos?
16. Looking at the practice of musicians who released this year similar kind of double albums, it will probably mean something like "Everday Life. Part 1: Sunrise", "Everday Life. Part 2: Sunset". Goodness, that's a flaming surprise to get such a letter in the mailbox O_O
17. Will speak about myself here, actually, because fully in charge of what I said here because so far see some misinterpretations that went even outside forums. For me it was pretty much with hopes being turned down about one (1) song the classical style snippet of which was teased yesterday. Why? Because having particular producers involved in maybe this one particular song reposted shows some certain promises on which twist can the song get based off the sound the producers work on most part of their career and honestly I'm not a fan of any of them. In my opinion, production matters in terms of the bands that create music together meaning that each of their input is valued and very much willing to be heard. I mean, for example, I don't quite feel happy about Jonny's work being hidden under very strange muffed production which is mostly meant for the musicians who have just some session musicians instead. Also adding to this, not everyone has super premium in-ear earphones to hear all the band members' work clearly as it's meant to be. On the top of that I know the song "Apologise" by OneRepublic (and some people over here remembered about it) in 2 versions and that's a big difference between these two versions, so big so that it sounds like a completely different song. I think that all the fans have a right to have an opinion and not like something. There are many things which I adore and love and like but it can't be all over honey even about my most precious favourite band which means a world to me because it's, think, natural, to not like somehing as well. You can call it overreacting but it's unfair to label that only oldplayers want band to sound like 16 years ago or like newplayers want them to sound more eletronics when someone expresses not liking something. It's healthy to not like something in the promise, it's healthy to have an opinion changed. I'm not personally attached to any group like oldplayers or newplayers, but I have some preferences in music and production. So, please, guys, just don't go on war with each other just because someone doesn't likesome hints/promises about collaborations. We'll waitand see, there'll be the whole new album or even two, if rumours are true, to enjoy and find something new. The nice thing is: no one stayed aside from the news about Coldplay which is a perfect sign of fans being dedicated to them, that's all. Let everyone be upset or totally hyped about any hints, just, please, not snapping at each other for something. No one's telling them what to do, everyone just happens to have opinions or preferences, that's all.
18. If I'm not mistaken, LiJ only existed on iTunes and whichever online stream services and was available for the ones who pre-ordered the album, so, surely, no acoutic versions because it wasn't released physically or available for some FLAC streaming services because, yeah, that was 2008, what do we want lol But that version sounds so heavenly good... Wish we had a really HQ version of it, ears would be truly blessed
19. In any case, we have Jonny to cling to, his riffs never fail, tbh + think it was about that upcoming song, maybe?
20. I thought that it was only True Love, not O?
21. Also if that Malibu video is actually for the upcoming album, can anyone imagine the type of music that was in that snippet coincinding with their outfits and the beach? Barely, so it makes more sense with having something like in the vein these producers work. So, well, anyway, we'll see.
22. With that new information about producers, everything's possible...
23. That was Jonny, astronomy and mathematics. Guy studied first engineering and then architecture .
24. Ok, guys, look at who reposted that teaser with beatclub... So, yeah, all true experiments hopes now went to the basement, probably, it's just a nice intro before some r'n'b beat dropping, so, yeah...
25. Don't get me wrong, I didn't mean it in a mean / malicious way, I just shared the overall knowledge about some guitars he used / uses because I really was digging this topic for a long, long while :x I'm not quite represented here, so logically no one would expect a complete stranger like me to this forums to know more or less about some certain topics xD
