Just listened to the "leak". Very good effort, wished it would be at least 4 minutes though... Instrumental is fantastic, lyrics are meh but not horrible. They still have it in them (Jonnys guitar!) so I really hope that self-titled album would consist of some songs like this at worst and 1st four albums at best.

We Pray sounds fantastic, la-la-la part is maybe a bit unnecessary, but otherwise its a great song. Could really be a big hit for casual audience.

Yes, what a disappointment. Weak lyrics, no instrumental progression in 1st half od song, chorus is absolutely empty and it does not build into something musically interesting.

So i made trip to London to see them in the iconic Wembley Stadium. Based of what i have read here before, i did not have big expectations. Higher Power is good opener, but from personal experenience i found AHFOD much stronger. The first half of the show is as spectacular as it possibly could be, altough i hate fact that Viva La Vida is fully lip-synced from Chris. Let Somebody Go was performed with H.E.R., which was very nice. Then Politik kicks in and you could just get the taste of what attending a Coldplay concert in 2000s was like. I really like this tour version of Clocks with beautiful xylobands, that was super cool. But just after it the puppets thing starts and most of the great energy is lost. For a few moments, i kinda felt almost bored with what was happening on stage. Sparks is great on C-stage, but i feel like they could change it from time to time with Green Eyes and Dont Panic. Humankind+Fix You is such a strong combo to end concert with, but then unfortunately Biutyful comes in. I really dont mind that song, but to make it a CLOSER? This is the biggest setlist option mistake they have ever made. Song is just not strong enough like previous closers, Up&Up was fantastic from last tour which i have seen live. To sum up, i really enjoyed concert as a whole, Wembley Stadium is epic with all those people around. The lights, xylobands and everything from technical perspective is almost perfect. Only problem is that Music Of The Spheres is a very bland album, so including most songs from it in a show kinda downgrades overall feeling. This tour now just feels like a weaker version of AHFOD tour. Anyway, i cant wait what is next in store for us fans from Chris and co. I hope that next album is already at least half-finished and we will hear something new in the autumn.

Cant believe that Break of Dawn (Vampire Symphony) did not make the cut to final album, i had that song on repeat from yesterday, it is definitely one of the better songs of AHFOD era. Also it its interesting how they completely changed AHFOD (song), it is totally different from album version of the song.

Just heard that 2nd version of song on Youtube. What i dont like is that the part ,,my heart is beating..." was ommited, but on the other hand, last minute is better with great Jonnys guitar

I think MOTS is on par with AHFOD. It has definitely better production, but on the other side, MOTS feels just like a collection of songs that band recorded over time and decided to put together on one album. Album is not cohesive, most songs feels out of place. Chris vocals are fantastic ( i will not comment Biutyful, really hate this type of vocals/music), but what bothers me is that the other members of band are really left behind on MOTS. Apart from Coloratura/ Humankind / POTP Jonny's contribution is almost non-existent. Guy's bass is very casual throughout album. But the biggest problem for me is Will's drumming. Even on Coloratura, he is playing so safe that i started wondering what has happened to him. On many songs he is using electric drums, which i really hate - OneRepublic started to use electric drums almost on every song and look where are they now, almost nobody cares about 1R in 2021. I must say i am really disappointed. No doubt World Tour will be great and one could say that album was made just for it. Song like Humankind and POTP will rock hard on crowded stadiums and it will be great spectacle to watch. I still have hopes for their next album, but they will need different producer and spend more time locked in studios together.
