Its already possible. Brazil has fuel-flexible cars that can run on ethanol, gasoline or any combination of the two. In the midwest US, there is a 10% ethanol blend that is used in normal cars. The only drawback is its price, at the moment. Then there's also biodiesel, which is made from animal fats, is safer and cleaner than regular diesel, and requires almost zero modifications for a normal diesel engine to use it (the only vehicles that require a modification are older vehicles that don't have artificial gaskets) Again, the only drawback is price, but biodiesel is getting closer to being a cheaper alternative with rising gas prices. I should start a new thread on this :wacko:
