The Syrian-born man's lawyers vowed to challenge the ruling, saying their client was denied due process during his 13-day detention the United States and sent to Syria, where he was held for 10 months, tortured and interrogated. The lawsuit was filed by Maher Arar, who was stopped while changing planes at New York's John F. Kennedy Airport in September 2002. He was released in 2003 and no criminal charges were filed against him by Syria or the United States.

the OC takes great, relatively unknown bands and turns them into giant sellouts. that show has ruined at least 4 bands for me. No way I'm going to go to their concerts if its all OC-lovers in the crowd.
