I am guessing that when you say obscure songs that you mean songs that aren't on their 7 "main", commonly-known albums. If I am assuming this right, then: Have you ever heard Moving to Mars or Gravity? Those are two of my favorite lesser-known songs of theirs. And, Postcards from Far Away (on Prospekt's March) is just beautiful. It's sure fun to dive into their lesser-knowns, especially the oldest ones. Have you heard Ode to Deodorant? :)

Coldplay Queen Prince Janet Jackson (my first favorite artist of all time, when I was 4 and Control came out. I swear I played that vinyl record...yep, vinyl...til it wore out! Still love her!!) U2

I was thinking about it...and have a hunch that maybe it has something to do with sunflowers being yellow, since this was taken around the time Yellow got super popular. But I could be wrong. Just a guess :)

Good question. I'd like to know that too. I am trying to find info on the picture but am not having success...someone help! In the meantime, I found this one too! Looks like Chris is about to take a big chomp of his sunflower. I love looking at really old pics of the guys, they look so darn cute and young!

I agree, @Gsilva and @Charlie Xyloto ! He definitely doesn't look real chipper, and had a very awkward-teen-coming-into-his-own look back then (even though he wasn't a teen in this pic--but he sure still looks like one). But now....wowza...the man's like a fine wine, better and better with every year! ;)

Welcome, @Charlie Xyloto ! I've been a Coldplay fan since 2000 but only just found this website last October--and everyone here is so kind, considerate, and generous. I've even learned a lot about the band from fellow Coldplayers, as I am sure you will as well, and you will have a blast! I just had to throw this welcoming picture in here, it's super cute :)

I agree, they are so fun to read through. I have been a fan since way back when Parachutes came out when I was 18 (I assume I am probably older than you....) but didn't even know that Coldplaying.com existed until late last fall. That's what I am super excited for, is all the discussion that'll happen here once something new is released, be it the tour film or a new album someday!

Teamwork is a lovely thing and creates beauty and magnificence....just look at our favorite band! :)
