Its £45 + booking fees. so probably nearer £50. the arena tickets were £46ish after booking fees. can't see the cricket club or Wembley being happy with that many chairs on the pitch, more possibility of the protective stuff ripping and damaging the turf

[Confirmed] UK Stadium Gigs 2009
Manchester is a must. LCCC is well laid out for stalkers ;) so that's 3 Coldplay shows & a football match for Angie then? I've never been to one of those types :embarassed: so I don't really know. more worrying is the news report on the LCCC official site, its subject to licence. Trafford or Manchester Council had better provide the flipping licence now! Coldplay announce Old Trafford concert Lancashire County Cricket Club is delighted to add Coldplay to what is already a packed programme of high profile events taking place at Old Trafford next year. Old Trafford Cricket Ground is definitely the venue of choice for world-class sport and entertainment in 2009. Next summer, people from all over the North of England will converge on Old Trafford to watch Lancashire’s exciting season of domestic cricket, five sold out Take That concerts, England v Australia in two much anticipated Twenty20 Internationals and now Coldplay add their name to the bill. This morning on BBC Radio One, Coldplay's Chris Martin announced three stadium concerts next year, and subject to licence, the band will play Old Trafford on Saturday 12th September, 2009. Coldplay are arguably the most successful English band of the past decade, selling in excess of 40 million albums worldwide and successfully concurring the tough US market where they are currently on tour. The band start their sold out UK Arena tour in Sheffield on 29th November, and will return next September for these three outdoor concerts in Manchester, Glasgow and London. Lancashire’s Commercial Director Geoff Durbin said: “Around 400,000 people will be watching concerts and cricket in 2009 at Old Trafford as we cement our position as one of the most popular multi-purpose outdoor stadia in the country. In what is a tough economic climate and with missing out on a Test match next year, these concerts will provide Lancashire with vital revenue to help us achieve our cricketing and stadium development ambitions”. Tickets for Coldplay, presented by Radio One, stadium tour go on sale THIS Friday 28th November at 9:30am. Concert Dates Saturday 12 September 2009 Manchester – Old Trafford Cricket Ground Wednesday 16 September 2009 Glasgow – Hampden Park Saturday 19 September 2009 London – Wembley Stadium Buy online at: http://www.ticketmaster.co.uk / http://www.gigsandtours.com / http://www.ticketline.co.uk Tour credit card hotlines: 0871 2200 260 / 0844 277 9000 / 0871 424 4444 Tickets priced at: £45 plus booking fee in Manchester and London (no reserved seating), £40 or £45 plus booking fee in Glasgow. Tickets will be available from the Old Trafford Ticket Office A limited amount of tickets will also be available from the Old Trafford Ticket Office on Friday 28th November. Tickets are limited to 6 per household, and those purchased with credit or debit card are subject to a booking fee (no cheques will be accepted). Tickets are vailable from 9:30am.

Coldplay - Prospekt's March EP (Review thread)
Can we talk for a sec. about: Coldplay? The band is rereleasing its latest album, "Viva la Vida," just five months after it came out, this time packaged with an EP of songs that weren't ready in time for the release of "Viva" (in addition to three updates of existing tracks). Chris Martin even says on the group's website that the EP tunes are "a little more catchy" than the ones that clocked in on time. So I get to pay twice because they couldn't push the release date back? Or finish on time?

Posteriormente ‘Violet Hill’ dio paso a ‘Clocks’. In my place’, ‘Fix you’, ‘The Hardest Part’, ‘Talk’, etc. Viva la Vida! http://davidsalgado.wordpress.com/2008/09/25/concierto-coldplay-en-madrid-sin-palabras/ ---- (translated by http://www.stars21.com) Coldplay in Madrid, tremendous. That last Sunday 7 September, he took place in Madrid's Sport Palace the second concert of the Coldplay band in Spain, after Barcelona who was the day before. I took long time waiting for this concert, but per end he arrived the day in which to be able to see to Coldplay in straight. We arrive to the pavilion, a fright glue, that yes, in all the doors opened advanced one very fast because there were a lot of doors to enter. There was food place crowd in the enclosure: Pizzas; doggies; hamburgers; and so on, and my stomach roared, by what we had to stop to catch forces, a doggie stops water chest, botellita and stops in front. When us we manage to place not estabamos far and centraditos, inspired asique. The not much of entering, Albert Hammond Jr, main guitarist from the independent pop rock, newyorkina, The Strokes, band wait made enjoyable as telonero. After finishing and when 20 minutes remained he stops the beginning of the concert, a girl us entertained with some that other one faint, fan round here and to that place, raised and at the 2 minutes... I come other I falter, until her got of allií his boyfriend out little. A tune had attention paid to the public, The Danube was Blue of Johann Strauss (son), the instrumental 'Live in Technicolour' raised the curtain later, with Frida Khalo mythical picture at the back, work that entitles the first single of the band, 'Lives Life.' 'Violet Hill' took step to 'Clocks' subsequently. The hairs running off of his orbit, to more than one the lagrimilla he was about overflowing. Each song was a clamour. The big classics mixed with the new topics, many I eat 'Japan in,' with the flooded pavilion with butterflies 'Lovers' paper of colors, or 'Lost.' All the classics were represented almost; 'Yellow;' 'Politik;' 'my In' 'Fix you,' 'The Hardest Part,' 'Talk' 'pleases,' and so on. One of the biggest moments of the night went when one switched all the lights absolutely off and they appeared the four component of the band between the public with his instruments and they touched the mythical 'The Scientist' suddenly. Made enjoyable with funny small comments of Chris Martin in Spanish everything. In short, him who could say who a weekend in Madrid 100? entry, in the resale 80?, seeing to Coldplay in straight does not have price now.
