Ask the Oracle on Coldplay.com (Now in session!)
weeeeellllll! After last monday's question was answered, I did send a message to the Oracle saying that if the mass-mail of the same question was annoying them, to email me and I'd rejig our plans. I've had no response, so I'm assuming that mass-mails don't upset the Oracle :D

24-Sep-2008: Stadthalle, Vienna - Tickets, Preview, Meetups, Review/Photos
Yesterday I was at the Coldplay concert in Vienna City Hall. Great Concert. Wow. The guys did an amazing show, with almost all of their hits (except “Trouble”) and some of their new songs - a littlebit different to what I expected from them, but a change doesn’t have to be bad. Impressive was also the show. They played with light and some neat effects (projection in huge bulbs hanging from the ceiling). Coolest thing was a rain of paper leaves with uv-light. Looked like a fairytail rain. If you have the chance to see Coldplay live - go for it! http://www.ape13.com/archives/349

24-Sep-2008: Stadthalle, Vienna - Tickets, Preview, Meetups, Review/Photos
Coldplay in Vienna So, this was a week to remember. For several reasons. But the most importaint one was two great concerts in two days. Following Madonna, i came back to Vienna to shoot Coldplay in Stadthalle. I have never been in this hall before, and it is just amazing. Huge, packed with 15.000 people. Coldplay rocked like i never imagined. Their music seems more intimate on CDs but when they play, it comes alive big time and they really go super loud. For us, it was the normal procedure, 3 songs, again some limitations. We were only allowed to stay next to left hand stage extension. This meant no moving as there was no place to go anywhere. Time flies, especially when singer like Chris Martin jumps like crazy, runs and turns all over the place. At the very end of the third song, he and Jonny Buckland, the quitar player came right at the end of the extension. Briefly, but i couldn't go at the end of the extension to get the ideal position. Sometimes this happens and it is not a good feeling, but it also means you have to take what you have and make the most out of the position you have. I quickly decided to go down a bit and catch a silhouette of Chris Martin as he felt on his knees. Bang, and it was over and we were out. I managed to get back to enjoy the show and kept my mouth open most of the time. So cool Coldplay! http://fotorocker.blogspot.com/2008/09/coldplay-in-vienna.html

26-Sep-2008: Olympiahalle, Munich - Tickets, Preview, Meetups, Review/Photos
Coldplay in München Gestern stand schon seit einigen Monaten “geheimes Geburtstagsgeschenk” in unserem Kalender. “we wish you a happy octoberfest”).

26-Sep-2008: Olympiahalle, Munich - Tickets, Preview, Meetups, Review/Photos

26-Sep-2008: Olympiahalle, Munich - Tickets, Preview, Meetups, Review/Photos
Coldplay - Munich - 26.09.2008 Just got back to work after an amazing weekend, seeing Coldplay finish there tour of Germany in the Olympic Hall. What can a say, regardless of whether you are a Coldplay fan or not, it was definately a great experiance. Brilliant backdrops, cool effects and overall a great concert. Only just a couple of days after all the videos are already being streamed on youtube. These are just a couple of my favorite, and its not just because it was where i was standing either. You can see lots more videos of this concert on youtube but , thats just a idea of what it was like. Of course it wouldn’t be right to go to munich at this time of year without visiting the Munich Oktoberfest. Despite arriving at about 11 in the morning, all tents were already full and tens of thousands of people had already started drinking. So if you’re thinking about visiting oktoberfest, the best advice I give is…Book a Table, or you will have no chance of getting in there. Although, as an alternative to Oktoberfest you can always go into the city centre and visit the local brewery which just so happens to be opposite the “Hard Rock Cafe”. The hard rock has a great atmosphere and is a really cool place for a few beers ( or 5/6) with a huge mixture of nationalities but for the evening festivities you really need to jump in a taxi and get yourself to “kuntzfabrik”….and small area of bars and clubs that are a hell of a lot of fun. well I apologise if this has turned into a bit of a munich review, but if you’ve been already then you will know its a fantastic city and if you haven’t, well you need to get your ass down there and experiance some proper german culture. I guarantee you’ll love it!!! http://www.guitarrisingtab.com/blog/?p=11

Sometimes I wish there were no facebook like sites...
well, as you would know if you had facebook, if you go on your own page it tells you when your friends have updated and where they have posted. seeing as though she knew these people from school, its conceivable that people who are her friends are posting things which come up on her newsfeed.

Sometimes I wish there were no facebook like sites...
She's not saying that its a bad thing on Facebook's part, more that if Facebook weren't there it wouldn't be so difficult. because she knew them. she doesn't have to be best buddies with them to feel upset that they died.

Small Reminders/Updates & The Coldplay Messenger (feat. Roadie #42!)
#42 and the Munchen bunchen We arrive in Munich not entirely sure what we'll find. The crew have had a day off here in the midst of "Oktoberfest". Now I couldn't tell you exactly what Oktoberfest is, or indeed why it begins at the end of September. What I do know, though, is that it is all about the drinking. Somewhat predictably, much of the crew are looking rather tired today. I expect the fact that the band have chosen not to soundcheck has been greeted with much relief. Here's Chris in the acoustic section raising a glass in the spirit of Oktoberfest. The acoustic section of the show is undoubtedly a highlight for the crowd. I have to admit, though, I enjoy it for completely different reasons. Admittedly, for a few folks (for example Hoppy, who has to sprint up there to get everything ready in the darkness during Lost!), it's a very busy time. But for most of the rest of us, it's a glorious space in the set where we can get onstage to tidy up, perhaps get a few things that are finished with packed away, or even nip to the Gents if required. It's become like a Roadie intermission in the middle of the gig. I wonder if we can get someone to come round with a refreshments trolley...? Elsewhere, I managed to get out during Lovers In Japan tonight for a quick look at Brook's butterfly confetti. Here's a few punters having a close encounter.
