there was supposed to be some kind of major twist at the end of the video according to the guy that writes the coldplayer journals. he said that he didnt want to spoil it so.. i didnt see anything major so what did anyone catch what it was? i don't think this is the real video.. seriously.. i don't think it is.

My 2yr old little sister spilled mango juice all over my U2 CD the day I bought it. I listened to the entire album in the parking lot right after I bought it. I can tell you that I didn't break it in half and toss it because of the mango juice.. I broke it in half and tossed it because.. 1) I couldn't believe I payed for that bullshit. 2) I actually tried to like every single track. Mango juice just sealed the deal for me. Either way.. I'll say it again. That album is bullshit. I've enjoyed every other album fine. But good god.. b-u-l-l-s-h-i-t. and the grammy goes to.. U2 - How To Dismantle An Atomic Bullshit Bomb. I WANT MY MONEY BACK. :angry:

Well I'm positive they played the song once during their euro tour late last year.. I mean I have the file. All I've got to say is good god Johnny ripped up the last section of the song. I remember watching the 2003 dvd and seeing how much energy was put into that song. And they only played it once during this tour? Hope to see it on the last leg. Anyone have any footage of it being performed? I don't know which concert it was from.. but I downloaded the mp3 off this board.

That doesn't worry me at all. I think it means they're not going to go corporate again. Not that I don't like X & Y (it's my favorite CP album) but I do think it is little more than an AROBTTH clone, a record meant to make money and keep CP in a holding pattern. They really need to change if they're going to keep the respect of music critics and fans down the road, and not just be another worthless pop band. I'm not saying that's what they are, but if they're not careful, they could easily become that. very very true. but its way too easy for a band like coldplay to be put down by critics/fans whether or not they do the "right" thing. theres always going to be the down side.

glad you heard it.. i love hearing new stuff. part of why i got into radiohead was cause of johnny's effects.

I don't know about A Message... but during the live performance of Low on MTV's Live Leak theres this new effect I hear from Johnny thats just too cool. Listen for it at 2:06.. its a quick/short police siren type sound between Guy's/Will's bass line/drums. very cool. gotta turn it up though.. i was blasting it in my car when i first heard it.

Wasn't sure what to call this thread... but i've been thinking of the thoughts/ideas/opinions that were going through people's heads when coldplay's singles were coming out. prior to x&y's release i barely listened to them but once i caught up and speed of sound was released i realized there were always different kinds of hype surrounding the songs. like with speed of sound people were saying how it was too much like clocks yet will constantly talked about how it was a bridge from the last record... not sure what was the hype with fix you.. or talk.. so lets talk about the singles all the way from Shiver to the upcoming 3rd single Talk... and please don't let this turn into some heated bullshit.. I wanna hear what people were really thinking about these songs when they came out.

yeah thats what i've been contemplating all day. can probably lose the tickets i've got n' eventually catch a couple floor seats. i'm leaning towards the $310 each as well.. well we've got several months to search. thanks for the input btw.

hey guys, when buying tickets at a box office do they still have to go online or do they have the tickets at the box office already? i'm debating on going to the MCI at like 7am or just ordering online..

floor seating is the equvialent to a pit since there won't be any seats. club concourse is the area where you can sit and eat i think while main concourse is just the closest SEATS to the stage. i'm going for either main or floor.

good god... 80.50? well at least i don't have to debate on getting club,main,or floor... they're all the same damn price.
