I was about 10 or 12, I think and still then obsessed with Star Wars. It was a while before those updated reissues of the originals. We were in Maine going to all those factory outlet and discount stores they have down there, and I found a copy of the complete soundtrack for all 3 movies for not much money. It was a lot of money for me at that age though. Anyway, I was over the moon. So, many days later we get home and I go to listen to it, when I notice a couple of little details I hadn't before. There's a part about adapted and arranged by someone or other, and I think a line about licensing. It wasn't the original soundtrack. It was all midi versions of the major parts of the soundtrack. They were terrible on an unbelievable level of terribleness. Basically a guy with a really cheap keyboard. And yes, as far as I remember it said it was official merchandise. :freak: :sick:

Gonna take more than 2 or 3 days now... got about 3 or 4 hours of sleep last night. Couldn't get to sleep until about 3 am and then because my parents alarm went off an hour earlier, it woke me up. :bigcry: :dizzy:

(Present company excluded of course ;)) They just had to go and screw up daylight savings time even more than it already was. I can't sleep. I got like 5 hours of sleep last night (need 8 or 9 to function) because of the time switch, I'm crazy tired, but I can't sleep. Not happening. And I'm the one who can fall asleep anytime anywhere if I want to. Even nights when I'm having trouble falling asleep I just change my breathing pattern and I'm out like a light. Not working now. This is so frustrating! :veryangry2: :wreck: The thing is, the new time doesn't even make a difference this far north this soon. We have to keep all the lights on in the morning instead of at night, so same amount of energy used. But of course it would totally mess everything up if we were in different time zones than the States, so once again Uncle Sam gets to dictate something stupid. :tongue: Sorry for the rant, I'm tired. :bigcry:
