Yeah! :dance: *points at avatar* If that isn't enough... erm let's just say I'm so obsessed with Middle Earth (or more accurately Arda) that I've studied Elvish... But I think the term "geek" should be clarified, since some people around here seem to think it means "nerd". A geek is a person who is unusually enthusiastic about something. A nerd is a loser who has high intelligence but who is very socially awkward. The two go together sometimes, but they aren't the same thing. I think it's safe to say most regulars around here are music geeks. I'm definatly a scifi/fantasy geek- LotR conventions and all. A little bit of a tech geek. Rapidly turning into a music geek, though I certainly didn't used to be. Have lots of friends who are anime geeks, though I never got into it myself. And yeah, I am a bit of a nerd too. :embarassed: But my point is, geekdom is something to be proud of.

Hmm... just had a brainwave... It looks like we have the season theme already- "how do you lose a planet?" Twice in two episodes. With RTD holding the pen there's no way they aren't connected some how...

:stunned: I like her. She's really growing on me. Probably helps that I haven't seen enough of her show to associate her with anyone besides Donna, but she's doing a really good job. And she and Tennant have the greatest rhythm between them- it's like watching a really good tennis match when they get going, but with words. And of course she doesn't know the Doctor very well yet, she just started, and she doesn't exactly listen quite like Rose did. But knowing these writers she still has an arc ahead of her. You lot must just be biased. :P Such a great episode, though. :dance: I loved it. Nice to see a location that isn't either England or a spaceship for a change. Not that those aren't great too.

Would certainly be interesting if this turned out to be true. Though I'm reluctant to trust results based on one single study. I remember when those big brick cell phones were just starting to catch on years ago, everyone was freaking out about them causing ear cancer, but then all sorts of studies were released to show there was no effect. Honestly, if this turns out to be true, we ought to be way more worried about old microwaves- they give off way more radiation, especially when they start to leak after a couple of years.
