  1. ^ I love it. Chris in his whity-tities.
  2. Aww! That's such a cute picture. Look at Chris. :D That's my local radio station too! I bet that's... uh... that girl... O-o
  3. I LOVE how Will drums. He's so intense but he doesn't flail around and go nuts like other rock drummers. :D Like in the God Put A Smile video, he's whaling on the drums with his head down and it's just so cool! Bah! He's just awesome. :D
  4. Yeah. I heard that Chris didn't want to do it at first, but I guess Ricky finally talked him into it. I'm excited about this though. Judging by the two interviews they had together, tt should be hilarious. And a healthy poke at yourself is always good. :D And Dan Radcliffe! That should be interesting as well. Yay!
  5. My firend thinks he sounds like a leprochan, so he'll sing a verse of "You're Beautiful" doing a perfect impression of him and he goes "but you'll never get my GOLD!" at the end and it so sounds like Lucky from Lucky Charms. It's friggen hilarious.

It was in a magazine article. It was an interview with Guy and Will. Will hinted that they already had a title and it was five words. He could've just been taking the piss though.
  7. VH1 when I feel like rotting my brain. The Travel Channel when I feel like torturing myself with all of the exotic locations and exciting adventures that I can't do until I'm out of school. >.<;; The History Channel whenever they have something on about ancient history. And Cartoon Network both day and night. Love some of the cartoons CN shows during the day and Adult Swim is the best.
  8. Filter's my favorite. I bought the issue with Coldplay last summer and the article was so incrediably well written I've been hooked ever since. I have piles of National Geographics all over my room and Time mags under my bed. :laugh3: I also subscribe to ChopTalk, the Braves magazine and my dad got some deal where he got a free subscription with Spin... but I hate it. Blah. I also occasionally pick up Discover or Physcology Today because I'm a huge dork like that. I'm supposed to be buying gossip mags and those girly magazines with make-up hints and spring fashions but I guess I'd rather learn about a new planent in our solar system. I do own the issue of Vouge with Gwyn on it though along with the Rolling Stone with Coldplay on the cover. :P
  9. Comparisons suck the big one anyway. If I were an artist I'd get ticked off getting compared to any band. Even though the music media does it all the time and I'd just have to get used to it. It's like the Jonsi-Thom comparisons. Comparing two of the most unique voices in music is like comparing a fish to a pack of biscuits. < © Chris Martin
  10. Hey! You can't say the gys don't have talent. I'm not into reggea but it was entertaining to say the least.
  11. Lookin' fit there Jonny boy. ;)
  12. DON'T SAY THAT. Sorry. It's just that I'd rather have blunt pencils shoved in my ears than listen to a James Blunt song. :laugh3: Wait... the whole blunt pencils and James Blunt thiin was completly unintentional.
  13. I agree that Chris is probably pretty far from boring. He just dosen't get trashed every night and cheat on his wife and throw things out of windows or has a drug habit or cuts himself or something. He's completly normal but completly not boring. I have to disagree with McNamara that Chris isn't a geek. He is. He totally is. There's nothing wrong with that. I wouldn't like him as much if he was actually cool. That's why he's not boring. :smug:

Oh yeahhhhh... now I remember. :D
  15. What the fuck are you talking about? At the end of every fucking concert he thanks the crowd for giving them "the best job in the world". There's been countless interviews where he goes on and on about how the band feel blessed that they'er able to make music for a living and how they feel like they need to work as hard as possible to validate that. Please, do a bit of research before you go telling a group of hardcore Coldplay fans what Chris Martin says.

Chris isn't the most important in the band. I'm sorry if it's just your shaky English and you couldn't think of a better word, but I just had to say something. Prominent may be a bit more fitting. :) And another thing is, is why would Coldplay suddenly decide to release a song called Moses on an album called Moses they hadn't played, touched on, or talked about for 3 years just because Chris named his son that same name? Especially when the song was written about Gwyn. I mean... wtf? It makes no sense. In my opinion, it sounds like a radio DJ found out that they had a song called "Moses" and that they were working on the new album and just ran with it.
  17. Oh, and during The Scientist at Koko [Jonny Comes in with guitar] Chris: Ladies and gentleman, the world's new guitar hero. It's about time he gets his credit... for playing chords. [Later] Chris: So tell me you love me Jonny... come back and haunt me [Later, when Jonny comes in with the electric] Chris: Here he comes, here he comes! Sorry... I just think it's adorable. :wacky:
  18. I'm listening to the Reykjavik show from 2001 and it's funny because in Don't Panic Chris randomly shouts "Come on Jon, come on Jon!" And then during Everything's Not Lost he goes: Ahhhh-ahhhh yeah - JONNY! Come onnnnn yeah Just so RANDOM. :laugh3: And during the 2005 Glastonbury performance when Jonny comes in with the guitar in The Scientist Chris goes "Ladies and gentlemen, Mr. Jonathn Buckland. Age 28 years-old, my best friend and the best guitar player who ever lived..." :wacky: And then during Kopenhagen during the same moment Chris says "This is my best friend."
  19. This shit is more likely to "alienate" us. If it's true that is. Sounds like more rumor mills trying to gain attention by fabricating things.
  20. WTF? THAT'S THE LAMEST THING I'VE EVER HEARD. What shit.
  21. frostbitepanda replied to coldplay_97's topic in Coldplay
    I'm pretty sure that's crap.
  22. That isn't what I was talking about. Sorry for the confusion. I actually just posted that link a few pages back. :D Chris and Jonny did an interview before the gig with a VJ and that was what I was asking for. Does anyone have that?
  23. Chris' rockout face is so funny. Eyes closed and mouth hanging open. I love the picture with Beyonce. That cracked me up.
  24. I remember reading about that in the tour journal! Haha. Poor Chris. I think he stepped in a light well and lost his balance. But he just keeps on singing! And that Justin Timberlake impression was priceless. I bet he's one of those guys who can impersonate anyone (Or tries to anyways). :laugh3: Thanks for sharing!
