  2. 8/10... reminds me of the concert. Amsterdam - Coldplay And Merkaba... I can't believe I actually know someone else who likes Of Montreal, Neuteral Milk Hotel, AND Belle and Sebastain. You rock. :) Oh and The Smiths! Crazy!
  3. ^ JONSI! *dies*
  4. I love how it's just like... them chillin'. It's very nice. Man... wish I liveind in Britain so I could see Coldplay blown up to monumental proportions and looming above me like some kind of beacon. Will looks like "aww, shucks..." You Brits have all the fun. :P
  5. I want the Talk DVDDDDDDDD... *Whine* But Yay! LIVE DVD! But they should DEFINATLY have Atlanta on there. Can you say.... Micheal Stipe? Oh yeah. :smug:
  6. Oh wow! Thanks alot! Stupid watermarks though. :P
  7.   I'm laughing SO MUCH right now. That South Park icure was HILARIOUS. Chris' teddy! xDDDD And that picture of them with the part hats! COULD I LOVE THEM ANY MORE? This thread is the greatest evar. And an_cat, I've asked you this in another thread, but do you have the original of that picture? It's so cute. :)
  8. Umm... am I the only one who thinks that's... scary beyond all reason?? *claws at brain* MY GOD IN HEAVEN. an_cat! I love the pic in your signature! That's great! You wouldn't happen to to have the original, would you? :D
  9. Oh an_cat, you are my hero. That's exactly how I feel. I think everyone should (and probably does) have something like that in their life. If you're not like... crazy physco (Like a stalker or somethng) I think it's perfectly fine and fun to be so passionate about something. And in my opinion, I think that there is no better thing to be passionate about than good music. And I can totally relate to seeing Coldplay live. I fought so hard to get tickets in Orlando (I live in Atlanta) because... well... it's Coldplay! It seemed completly natural for me to pay hundreds of dollars for tickets and travel hundreds of miles to go see them. And I can't wait to get a car so I can get a job and pay for tickets faster and get plenty of merchandise. It's crazy but I love it. :)
  10. Good points there DAN. I can completly relate to you on that one. It is somewhat of an obsession. Just this morning my mom was telling me about this gift she got me and I was thinking the whole time 'it's something Coldplay, it's comething Coldplay... the Talk DVD... yeah...' and she looked at me and goes "No it is NOT something Coldplay." It was funny, but completly commonplace. They are, really, a part of my everyday life. If I'm in conversation I can always find a way back to the band. :D Welcome to the club. ETA Oh yes, and sometimes I'll go a pretty long time without listening to Coldplay (Like I'll go on a Sigur rós binge for awhile), but then I'll play a Coldplay song and it's like I'm coming home. IT'S SO WEIRD. WHY DO THEY DO THIS TO ME?
  11. ^ I think you're right. He spends money on jukeboxes and his in-house studio. I bet he brings all kinds of techy gadgets or old vinlys home all the time. His wife must be thinking: 'where in the hell are we going to put THAT?'
  12. 10/10! R.E.M. :) Neighborhood #4 (7 Kettles) - Arcade Fire
  13. 6/10 - Don't like that song. Blonde on Blonde - Nada Surf
  14. Actually, it was the bassist or drumer's solo album. I forgot which one.
  15. I can see where you're coming from with the Morten/Martin comparison and Chris actually wears some leather bands around his wrist as a salute to him. But I really don't see the projection difference. I've never seen Ah-Ha live, but even though Chris has probably been influenced by Morten vocally, they are still completly different voices and ranges. MOrten has one of the broadest vocal ranges in modern music, which you can't really compete with. I think Chris' voice is actually quite peircing and one of the most, if not THE most, distinct voices out there.
  16. Will is the shiznay. That's why he has a following. And he has a fantastic bum.
  17. O_o... Okay... I HAVE to know the story behind this one. Wow.
  18. ^ I don't know why but I just envisioned him as a pilot.
  19. HOLY CRAP. No wonder you posted that! He almost reaches out and touches you! *Grumbles in envy*
  20. Okay three posts in a row... but they'll also be buying thier own studio! That is so exciting. I'm sooo happy for them. Every reat band needs their own creative haven (Like Sigur rós). :) He sounded marvelous and alot more energized as well. I think things are going quite well.
  21. BAH HAHA! They LOVE ATLANTA. Guy just used Atlanta as an example for something. YAY!
  22. Yay! Thanks Texasluvsjonny. :D
