I must admit before I got into Radiohead properly, I used to think they were very depressing, and that Thom was just a moody git who didn't like much. That's what I was told, and I just believed it. But having got more and more into the music I started to realise how wrong I was. Musically, I don't think you can compare the two. Chris' lyrics are mainly nice and breezy; not really requiring that much concentration. Thom's lyrics, however, are much more substantial; they deal with politics and the environment and general fears of technology and the future. Their music makes me think, and I generally like that. As people, Chris seems to be very "celeb: married to a Hollywood actress, always doing interviews and basically very gregarious. Thom, on the other hand, is much more normal. He doesn't like interviews and has been called "awkward". They are both of course, nice people, but somehow I would rather hang out with Thom just because he seems my type of guy. Sorry about all that, I didn't intend to write that much.
