  1. "I like my buddies from west Texas. I liked them when I was young, I liked them then I was middle-age, I liked them before I was president, and I like them during president, and I like them after president." —George W. Bush, Nashville, Tenn., Feb. 1, 2006
  2. No problem! And if you haven't already (which you more than likely have) check out the video download section of mardy-bum.com ;) They have some really awesome stuff there!
  3. Yep, I have it. It's from their performance on SNL, go here: http://www.prefixmag.com/videos/ And the first link is A Certain Romance, and the second is Dancefloor. Alex was soooo hot that night... mmmf. Enjoy!
  4. I come bearing Alex Turner, as usual LOL!!! What can I say? This kid's too much for me... "Tha' man just yawned!" And a group AM shot, just because I can and I find their bad skin adorable... LMFAO!
  5. Mmmmm, but I don't have my finger on the nuclear button, do I? :uhoh: :snore:
  6. I knew what he meant, but the way he said it was amusing and came out wrong.
  7. 3 entries found for condescending. con·de·scend Audio pronunciation of "condescending" ( P ) Pronunciation Key (knd-snd) intr.v. con·de·scend·ed, con·de·scend·ing, con·de·scends 1. To descend to the level of one considered inferior; lower oneself. See Synonyms at stoop1. 2. To deal with people in a patronizingly superior manner. :dozey: I guess that makes me 7 and a half year old.
  8. Why do you always write people off as "stupid" so easily? It's really quite a general and immature thing to say. Please, tell me what he meant there. Enlighten me.
  9. Uh...... The way that he said it, it came across that "we" (the government) never stops thinking of ways to harm the country. Obviously he didn't mean it that way, he said it completely wrong though. What he should have said was: "Our enemies are innovative and resourceful-and so are we. They will never stop thinking of new ways to harm our country and our people." Instead he made it sound like "They never stop thinking of new ways to harm the country, and we don't either." Oh please, you've got to admit it came across as completely idiotic, because it was. lmfaooooo. Wow. EDIT: I wonder, though, if it's Bush that says these things, or his speech writers. Because if it's the speech writers... poor Bush....
  10. Right, that's what it is! My brother was talking to me about it before, that it's all based on the internet and all that... I thought the commercial was kind of interesting, if confusing LOL
  11. No, I agree Erin. I think that her character was proving difficult to work with. I remember the times where she'd have sexual tension with Sawyer, then sexual tension with Jack, then back to Sawyer. It really was sort of random and.... I don't know. I really hated her, even when there was that episode about her losing her baby. I felt bad for her, but not THAT bad. She was too....... cold. I just didn't have any warmth in my heart for her, and then when Michael killed her I just KNEW it was going to happen, wasn't that much of a shock. It's her own damn fault though, she shouldn't have been going around drinking herself silly then driving. Duuuurrrrr.
  12. Holy crap. How about tonight's episode? I expected that to happen with Anna, but Michael killing her... not at all! I knew she was going to have to go toinght, I knew it once they started the episode off as her ep. With her facing possible jail time and all that, there's no way they could rely on her any longer. But LIBBY. My god... that shocked me.... I thought Michael killed himself at the end, but apparently he just shot himself in the shoulder to stage a "fight". He must have made the deal with the others. "Henry" for Walt. He must have the "sickness" or something.... Wow. Wow, wow, wow.... I'm still absolutely stunned. What a fucking amazing show.
  13. That's something that's going on, apparently there are clues that they give and you go online and find out "answers" or SOMETHING. Answers to what, I don't know. I don't think it's DIRECTLY related to the show though?
  14. U2. Every single show I went to is a moment that I'll never forget. I think that the show that I went to on October 4th was the best though. Keane as an opener, and I was right against the rail....!! *sighs* memories... The Stones put on a good show, too, but it wasn't very personal. It was just cool to see them... But nothing MIND blowing. Just great music and Mick Jagger running around with his shirt off? Meh... For what I paid I was hoping for better, but, alas. I have to keep reminding myself that they've sort of sold out. I highly recommend seeing U2 in concert though, at least once in your life if you haven't already. Even if you don't like them. Their shows are just... blindingly amazing.
  15. Yay for the running penis!
  16. I have a list. -When Lost goes on haitus for a really long time and for NO real reason. -When people keep calling me a lesbian, just because I don't think Hugh Grant is hot. -People who demand me to get them Radiohead tickets. Yeah, ok. *bends over* -People who hate bands that I love for no reason. Or for completely unfounded ones. -Guys who think only skinny girls are pretty. And laugh at your if you're anything but. -People who don't do their part. -The fact that I don't have a gold star yet :( Probably a lot more LOL!
  17. For some reason, in my weird mind, the lyrics fit... Plus I was listening to it and felt like posting the lyrics somewhere LOL!!!!
  18. Karma police arrest this man, he talks in maths, he buzzes like a fridge, he's like a detuned radio. Had to....
  19. Jonny is the mother :nice:
  20. :stunned: errrr........?
  21. mmmmmmmmmmkay. I'm a HUGE Guy fan and I'm EXTREMELY happy about it. It makes me sad that other people wouldn't be. *dramatic sigh*
  22. Yeah, number one should be people thinking that their soap box entitles them to speaking for "everyone". :nice:
  23. Yes, please save that for the "To Hell With Respect For The Guys And Their Families" thread ;)
  24. Wow. This list is absolutely idiotic. 39. AIDS Although it was responsible for many deaths (Freddie Mercury and Eazy-E among them) and inspired one of the most insipid hits in the past three decades (“That’s What Friends Are For”), the most significant musical damage done by the AIDS virus came with the subsequent demonization of sex and drugs, two ingredients without which rock & roll become practically pointless — if not impossible. How not funny. Idiots. *shakes head*
