  1. I prescribe it to a few of you.
  2. Sigh. I really hope the guys never read this, because I would be so embaressed by the behavior some people exhibit.
  3. Yeah, sure, things he's said have been dumb. But he don't talk like diss. I'm amused by a lot of things people have said, I'm sure people could find incredibly dumb things JFK, FDR or Lincoln had said. I'm POSITIVE, in fact I'll go look for them if I have to. The problem is is that Bush talks in the wrong tense half the time, it's just pathetic. I guess it says a lot about our nation as a whole, however, when our elected official not just says incredibly ironic/contradictory things, but says them with wrong grammer as well  Oh well. I guess ideas are more powerful than intelligence.
  4. Oh jeez, why does everything have to become some stupid conservative vs. liberal debate around here? Whoop de fuckin' do with Clinton. :snore: I'm so sick of conservatives using Clinton as their ammo. It's sooooooooo boring. There's about 10 "different" versions of this shitty debate going around this section of the forum and I'm sick of hearing about it. Let's embrace GW Bush's inarticulateness and stupidity, I'm sure it is something that both parties can agree on :nice:
  5. "You teach a child to read, and he or her will be able to pass a literacy test.'' —Townsend, Tenn., Feb. 21, 2001 :uhoh: "I'm also not very analytical. You know I don't spend a lot of time thinking about myself, about why I do things." —aboard Air Force One, June 4, 2003 "The most important thing is for us to find Osama bin Laden. It is our number one priority and we will not rest until we find him." —Washington, D.C., Sept. 13, 2001 "I don't know where bin Laden is. I have no idea and really don't care. It's not that important. It's not our priority." —Washington, D.C., March 13, 2002 mmmmm, tastes like idiocy.
  6. "I'm the decider, and I decide what is best. And what's best is for Don Rumsfeld to remain as the Secretary of Defense." —George W. Bush, Washington, D.C. April 18, 2006 *sighs* So classic :nice:
  7. "I can look you in the eye and tell you I feel I've tried to solve the problem diplomatically to the max, and would have committed troops both in Afghanistan and Iraq knowing what I know today." —George W. Bush, Irvine, Calif., April 24, 2006 Whaaaaaaaaaat the hell?!?!?!
  8. I think a few girl's dreams were just nailed into the coffin and sent 6 feet under :uhoh:
  9. I think that it answers a LOT of questions, but it also creates a lot of very, VERY new ones. ;)
  10. I think the use of proper grammer alludes to maturity and thoughtfulness. ;)
  11. Awww, whoo hoo Paul! :nice:
  12. Wow. Reading your thoughts, Steph, makes me realize how LONG it's been that Season 2's been going over here... Only 4 more episodes (with the first all new one in a couple weeks tonight) to go until the finales.... It's incredible how much the story morphed itself in that time period... the first episode of S2 just seems centuries ago!
  13. I start crying just looking at the caps!!!!!!!!!!!!!! DAMNIT! Hmmmm... My favorite scene.... I like the sexual tension when they're by the fire, drinking and sharing random stories, before they sleep with each other. You can feel something sizzling. Soooo well acted. And any scene with Michelle Williams in it is a favorite of mine. Oy, love her so much
  14. Ah, then that must have been the show, couldn't remember which one!
  15. Apparently U2 filmed one of their Mexico shows using 3-D technology, cameras, the whole nine yards. We'll probably hear about it in a couple of years, but whoa... that would be AMAZING! Like going to a show all over again!!!!!!!!!!!:shocked2:
  16. You guys amaze me everyday, really. I'm going to give my bit tomorrow when my dad gets home from his work trip with his credit card ;) I feel horrible having helped set this up and not giving yet, but I'm soooo glad to see this turn out. Love you guys, truly, I do. And hopefully a little kid and his or her family will as well! :)
  17. He really was. He was such a paradox, though... He had absolute blind hatred for the Indians, however when his wife died he fell apart. Interesting man, but not one I would ever like.
  18. They're clever bastards. :dozey:  Oh well, at least it isn't THAT much being taken out, they're not taking half or anything.
  19. I really don't think that we are in any position, at this juncture in time, to judge Bush as a good or bad president. His second term is half over, there's still half to go. I'm interested to see what happens in that time period, see who we have next, THEN I'll judge him. It's a weird situation, because there are people who think he's the best thing to ever touch the earth since Jesus. Then there's people who think he's the worst thing to happen since...... life began? I might not agree with his current policies (OR his past ones) HOWEVER, if he can get his poll numbers from the low thirties (high twenties? I don't know the current figures) to the upper... 70s or something, he might just be the best president ever. Because you have to be a pretty fucking good president to turn this around. Andrew Jackson will forever be the worst president ever. His sponsorship of the Native American genocide makes me physically ill. Bush can't even top that, for me.
  20. I am so keeping my mouth shut on this one. :uhoh: I don't know, but Andrew Jackson was a complete mother fucker.
  21. Cheers Nadia on updating the 1.36 site, sorry I haven't been online in the past couple days to discuss like I meant to, but I didn't know that the immigration protest yesterday was going to take up my whole day! LOL!!!! Sofy, I BELIEVE that Paypal takes out the 30 cents ON TOP OF the % tax. I'm almost positive that that's the way it works, however, I could always be wrong... :/
  22. Haha, he'd name it after his middle name? That'd be interesting...
