  1. Thanks, it took me way too long to make that animation. Time well spent, I like to believe. Edge plays guitar and Adam play bass in U2. Favorite band next to Coldplay, for me. In case you couldn't tell by basically everything from my name on here to my sig... Oh, I just saw your question regarding CFU. Of course you can join, anyone can. No matter how many posts or how much bling. Bling is basically a pointless thing on here unless you use the "casino" up at the top of the page. CFU is our Coldplay Appreciation "Club", so yep... Join us! :wink3:
  2. Oh yes, thank you Nettie! Again! LMFAO!!!!! Daaaamn. I can't wait to see them in April. I hope they stay the same looking, I mean, it IS 4 months away! :o
  3. I looove Guy's hair lately. I can't help it, I've missed the crazy fro-ness!!!! :wink3:
  4. Nope, but he's in my sig. That's Edge and Adam in my av.
  5. I need to get out of here.

  8. :uhoh: :uhoh2: Someone else handle this!!!
  9. I want to play bass all of a sudden. What the hell??????
  10. I think the new Dumbledore was the only thing I disliked about the third one. I thought that was a GREAT movie. Very entertaining, plenty of development and nice and dark. I like dark movies, I guess  Richard Harris was an incredible actor, and a genius Dumbledore. I hope my criticisms don't ruin the movie for you, really!!! Don't listen to me, ! I always go into a movie with an open mind, I never read reviews before. In fact, I never read reviews at all. Why should other people's opinions matter, anyways!??! :P
  11. It probably would have killed the kids in the theater. But not me. And I'M the only person who matters! :smug:  Just kidding, but you know what I mean. :P Oh man... Dumbledore was completely off the mark. With the Goblet of Fire, when it was spitting out the names, I HATED how they had him cringing at the light. How stupid was that? They made him seem pathetic. Also, when he was over the pensieve and was bitching out McGonagall... That was out of character as well. I really miss Richard Harris. What happened to the scene at the end with Barty Crouch's son, as well?? Ok. It has been a very long time since I read book 4 (about 2 years, actually, but I've been busy with the other 2 yanno!). Doesn't he get his soul sucked out by a Death Eater? What the FUCK. I can't believe they left out some of the most important moments. Couldn't they have cut out the stupid scenes that none of us need? Sure, they keep the mood light. Like the dancing. It's cute and all, but if they were going to cut anything, could it have been that? No sphinx in the maze!? No Rita Skeeter bug!? What is this?? Right. I'm done taking my anger out on this movie  I guess I had a lot more to complain about than I thought.... :o Sorry... :/
  12. I want to watch the DVD NOW.
  13. I always get so annoyed with people who complain about things I really love, so I'm sort of... uneasy to talk about how I felt about the movie here. I didn't hate it, or anything. It's just Book 4 is my favorite and I truly didn't want them to mess anything up. And for what they had in the movie, they stayed fairly truthful to the literary source. However, what they left out.... I mean. It was Harry Potter on speed for the begining. Holy crap. No World Cup!?!? Sure, my friends were all going on about it in the car on our way back home and when I brought this up they said that if they left it in, it would have become a 4-5 hour movie. Sorry but, Lord of the Rings anyone? I'm not really into the "fandom" of Harry Potter, so I probably came with a completely different approach to the movie. I felt slightly put off by the intensity in the theater... Or at least of my friends! They kept smacking me and screaming "THIS IS SUCH A GOOD MOVIE ISN'T IT???" that if I said "Well, I could do without that sexual innuendo and I'd like a little bit more character development" I'd probably be lynched!!! All in all, good movie. Harry Potter needs to start growing up though, and start appealing to an older fan base. The books are doing exactly this, however the movies... I was 13 or 14 when the first one came out. I'm 17 now, and will be 19 by the time the next one comes around, most likely. Give some real conviction to your roars of pain and anger, Harry, when Voldemorts coming up at you. Don't just look like there's some ferret in your pants. I was very impressed with that scene, however. It fit how I imagined it perfectly! Ralph Fiennes is one of my favorite actors, however, so what can I say? lmfao, those are just MY two cents though, and I don't want to make anyone upset with me!! If you love the movie, good!! I'm not saying it was horrible! I'm just saying there are some big improvements they need to make for the next one, even if it means another change in the director and (oh, I'm going to get killed for saying this) changes in the cast. :uhoh:
  14. Maybe try meeting them before souncheck? If your shows at 7:30ish then they'd probably arrive... around 4? I know that's what U2 does, and how I met THEM, so... Perhaps Coldplay does something similiar with soundcheck (that seems like a pretty generic thing anyways, to get to the venue so "early"). Try hanging around back entrances, where the vans might be, and you might catch them driving in. If there's enough people, or if you seem really nice, they'll probably get out for you! I wouldn't count on ever getting backstage, though. Unless you're a celebrity and we don't know it?? ;)
  15. LMFAO. That guy was fucking CRAZY!
  16. I really enjoy the documentary on the second disc. Love those GA people. I'm psyched! Only 15 (or 14?) days until my "U2 Week Extravagenza" which is basically me moving to Boston for 3 days and seeing U2 on 2 of them. :stunned:  Nice cap off to the year, I think.
