Oh, bad luck! I don't think it will matter if you pick it up next Sunday - you just have to remember that this little boy had epilepsy and was autistic - though not to a very high degree, it seems - but the Royal family were having to keep him hidden away so he wouldn't 'shame' them by having a fit in public. That's what it's all about, really.

He's called Ely (pronounced Eeee- lie! - well sort of anyway!!) we got him from a rescue place - someone just left him in the house when they moved - cruel bar stewards!!! Anyway taken no time at all to fatten him up!!! 8) Aww, how can people do that to a sweet little cat? :o

Just bringing this thread back to its original purpose - I had this really sweet dream about a fox last night! It was in my kitchen, with several dogs, and was obviously a newish 'pet' animal. The dogs had been in the family for ages. The fox looked up at me as I walked in and I said, Hello little foxy - do you want to go outside? And it kinda bounced up and down on its little black front legs like dogs do when they're excited, and it was panting with its mouth wide open, like, smiling! So I let it out, but there was one of the dogs outside, eating its dinner. The fox hesitated and glanced at me, so I said, go on little foxy, it's OK. And it ran out! Isn't that sweet? :angel:

Well, I don't care about Coldplay promoting good political stuff. It't their music which counts to me. I hadn't even HEARD of them a year ago, and suddenly In My Place hit me from the TV screen - stopped me in my tracks because, quite frankly, it was so DIFFERENT. They aren't just performers, like so much you see on TV. Their songs express their souls - I know that sounds corny, but what I mean is they MEAN what they are singing about. Every time. And each song has something surprising in it - it could be the lyrics, or a particular chord sequence, or the drumming or the tempo or the way it suddenly 'opens out' into a real, full-blown dawn, like in Daylight. Amazing stuff. These guys will not be forgotten. Not everyone likes them, lots of people say their music is doomy and miserable. They're not seeing it for what it is - REAL music, heartfelt music. I agree with a critic I read recently - they are going to be greater than the Beatles.

On Sunday evening, BBC ?. About Prince John, the Prince they didn't want us to see. It was brilliantly played, in my opinion. Second part next Sunday.

No, I hadn't heard of it until a year or so ago when I found it in a video rental store. What a gem! Very unusual, great music, very sad, but not at all 'showy' in the way of Hollywood. Recommend it strongly. It's on Channel 4 on Friday 31st - but VERY late at night.

Nearly everyone on Desert Island Discs has a Beatles record. But then, nearly everyone on DID is about 100 years old anyway ....... ;)

What I REALLY hate is waking up from a dream which is SOOOOOO real and SOOOOOOOOOOO wonderful, and you're with the man of your dreams at last and everything's just floaty. Then there's this really weird noise that just gets louder and you wake up and your alarm clock says it's 5.30 am. Again. :( SUDDEN DEATH TO ALL ALARM CLOCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :x
