This is how I play the intro--I think it's how will plays it... well, I think there's two ways Will plays it. The two just have slightly different bass drum patterns. It's kinda hard to hear the bass and floor tom, or to distinguish the two in the album because his toms are tuned really low, so it's kinda all mushed together. Live is much clearer. I <3 the beach. :D I can't surf or anything (I'd like to try...), but I like to take pictures, skip rocks, and body board. :) I love the beaches in Hawaii. :blush: They're okay here in California--the best ones are in San Diego... right next to Mexico. :)

Since daily routines are freaking boring, what's something unusual that happened today? Well, today in Southern California it got up to 82F (27.7C)... weird for mid winter. :laugh3:

This isn't really an "injury", but I had my thymus removed when I was 12 (a gland above your heart) and in the process they had to break my sternum to get to it. :freak: I sprained my ankle pretty bad once while running towards a car in the parking lot. :rolleyes: I got to the point I thought I might've fractured it, because it was taking forever to heal. My sister dropped a fan on me when I was 4 while I was holding a pen and the pen stabbed my eyebrow. :laugh3: A piece of my eyebrow (at the end of my left) is missing now, haha. Punched this shelf in our garage and ripped a piece of skin down the the ligament of the last knuckle of my right hand. :/ Kinda gross.

My muse is whatever other people have done. :smug: I'm a real copy cat. :laugh3: Every photo and every drawing I've made have been inspired/copied from a prexisting photograph. :D

Oh... and that study... Let's say--I have two groups of kids: one group swims in a cold pool for a while, and the other doesn't. Next, cold water is splashed shortly after without warning on to the kids. Okay, which group is gonna be shocked more? Obviously the ones that weren't in a cold pool just before being doused with cold water. I guess you can call that "desensitizing", but it's quite temporary. On the other hand, you can be trained to be really tolerant to cold water and such. Hm... a person like that could represent a trained killer, perhaps? And, there's also people that live in cold climates--they could represent people that live in violence ridden countries, or live in a generation full of violence (cough, like ours...). Catch my drift? Some much for a scientific study.

Oh c'mon. I think violent video games barely have an impact on self-control or desensitizing. If their are two kids standing in front of me, and one has a really short fused and is a bit desensitized and the other kid is all calm and collected and sympathetic and shiz, I'm not gonna say "OH! That angry kid must've played violent video games all his life!" There's a lot of other things that affect your self-control/desensitize you (movies, music, other people, you, watching the news). Sucky parents have to stop blaming it on the video games they play because: 1.) they bought them the game 2.) it's probably not the main reason they're out of control--there are probably a lot of underlying reasons Okay, some kids will be really retarded and obsess over video games and kill people, but that's because they're insane. That kid that murdered someone with a bunch of moves from Manhunt obviously has something wrong with him! It's not the freaking video game that drove him to do that I bet. And, if they think the games aren't suitable for children then they shouldn't give mature/18-rated games to their kids then! If a parent believes their kid is mature enough to not go crazy after seeing... violence that isn't real, then I think they can give them violent video games then. But, if their kid gets obsessive or acts different in a way, limit their playing time or just straight up take the game away! Gah.

:laugh3: When I was a kid I wanted to be a fireman I think... or... firewoman... Then after I was 9 or 10, I started wanting to become an artist of some sort, since I had a knack for drawing and stuff. I wish I knew I had a knack for taking pictures then too. I just figured that out a year ago.
