  1. Er, people make fun of me for liking Coldplay. It's embarrassing, yes, haha. But... I don't give a shit. Haha. Just because I'm feeling really thoughtful... Do right and wrong exist?
  2. bladie blah blah... Sorry--this debate is interesting, I swear--I'm just to lazy to read.
  3. Oh god. I didn't use ANY smilies at all in that last post! I'm so proud of myself! :laugh3:
  4. Okay, I'm in a really... thoughtful mood right now. Sorry for the pointless rant. You don't have to reply or anything. I just feel like laying out all my thoughts. Excuse me if I contradict myself, haha. It's a process.... lol. I know it's a rather large body of text for a message board, but reading it... could be useful, haha. I was just thinking--is there ever a definitive place to "draw a line" with some issues? Or, is right and wrong "undefined" often? People debate about things like politics, business, gay marriage, terrorism, whatever....... people have set beliefs about things--people are stubborn bastards. Thing is, though, that things change... constantly--what you thought before might not be exactly as applicable as the other day, but people will hold on to their pride continue to believe what they believe. That's both good and bad--when is it right or wrong to do that? Do you give up your faith just because something might go against your belief? No. Do you continue to live in ignorance just because you're not willing to believe or understand something else? No............ which brings me to the next thing I was talking about. I was thinking--people want things to be black and white for them, but it's not. It's like getting a bunch of grey paint and trying to separate the black paint and the white paint that it was originally made of--that's kinda... hard... right? Excuse me for quoting my favorite TV show, but... "I’m sure this goes against everything you’ve been taught, but right and wrong do exist. Just because you don’t know what the right answer is – maybe there’s even no way you could know what the right answer is – doesn’t make your answer right or even okay. It’s much simpler than that. It’s just plain wrong." This sounds kinda cheesy, but the black and white paint do exist, but sometimes you have no way of finding out what it is if it's all mixed up into a bunch into a bunch of grey matter. So you can't draw the line dividing black and white when it's all mixed up into a bunch of right and wrong mush. It's beyond our power. We'll continue to debate about things--politics, religion... but no one will find an answer. So... what's the purpose of a debate?--I think a debate isn't about convincing people that you're right and they're wrong, but learning about or gaining someone elses point of view about a certain thing. You might prove a point, but the more important thing is learning something. If you impress your beliefs upon other people, it's only fair to give their beliefs a chance to impress upon you... The answer to everything exists, but who's to find it out? People? Nah. I don't know, but that's one of the reasons why I believe in God. /end pointless rant that no one will read
  5. Tell all the Truth but tell it slant--- Success in Cirrcuit lies Too bright for our infirm Delight The Truth's superb surprise As Lightening to the Children eased With explanation kind The Truth must dazzle gradually Or every man be blind--- sorry, I just felt like leaving a random, cryptic poem by Emily Dickenson somewhere.

  12. I really hate getting up in the morning. Right now I have to be awake for school (SCHOOL! ANOTHER THING I HATE) at 5:30... which is in about five hours... I'm always a grouch when I wake up. Yeah... school... I hate using my brain. 'Nuff said. ANNNDDD, I hate stuck up people--people that have that high and mighty thing going on. I might be stuck up sometimes, but, I hate it when I am... so... People that are all about gossip and other people's lives bug me. It annoys me when people keep thinking they're in love and go through boyfriends/girlfriends like nothing. I hate people that think the music they listen to is the only good music around. Really, really narrow-minded/ignorant people piss me off. Like, people (that live in the US) that ask "Where's Florida?" -- that's... really sad. I hate adults that use the excuse "I'm an adult" to get away with things. I hate kids that use the excuse "I'm just a kid" to get away with things (well... sometimes it's understandable if too much is expected from them). I hate math. I hate talking on the phone. I hate braces. I hate bugs. I hate my parents............ well, hate isn't exactly the word, but close... I love them, but I don't really respect them... I'm really cynical... haha.
  13. I've posted here already, but eh... Christiana (ahhhh, I miss you :bigcry:), Eric, and Crystal. I'm really wondering where Christiana went... it's been bugging me--she hasn't been online since December, and she said she would be on the next day. :( And her whole battle with breast cancer...

  17. ^hehe, thank you! :D Heh, yeah, I thought it sounded kinda boring without the bassline so I tried to figure out a way to stick it in an acoustic version. :uhoh: Okay, I'll try to sing louder. :P But, I did record this at 1 AM, so I had to be a little quiet, haha. And, I just started singing recently so it's still a bit foreign to me (Haha, I started playing guitar before I started singing in front of anyone :uhoh:) oh, I've had a guitar for a little more than 2 years, and I've had... 4 lessons. anyway, thanks again.

  23. Er, sorry you have to deal with my mediocre sing voice, but I made this little cover of sparks, hehe. And, I'm a girl, and it's kinda hard to sing as low as Chris, hehe. (and as high... for that matter) http://www.yousendit.com/transfer.php?action=download&ufid=AB3C195569942C9C http://rapidshare.de/files/29951806/cap1.mp3.html Friggin' file glitches a bit when I say "I promise you this" stupid. I'm gonna try to make a video cover too... edit: oh yeah, I forgot to mention I just learned how to play this song today in less than an hour, haha.
