  1. Yup... saving Jonny from page 2 again!
  2. Let's see if this link works. It's from the WBOS homepage, it should link you to a player that streams the station live. javascript: pop_page('http://den-a.plr.liquidcompass.net/standard_plr/audio_player.php?id=WBOSFM&playerType=wmp','tuner','650','385')
  3. Was nice getting to vote for someone I wanted to be President instead of voting against someone I don't ... if you know what I mean. And yes, one of my first thoughts was, "I wonder what Chris will have to say about this at his next concert date?"
  4. Great snippet from 42! I was cracking up with the monkey dance at the end too.
  5. Quote from Reign of Love: "What were the problems that ocurred during the techno "Got Put A Smile On Your Face"/"Talk" Techno Medley? I didn't notice (apparently I'm one of those non-musical experts Chris referred to!). Did something happen with Will?" Yes, I think it was with Will's earpiece. We were seated right next to the b-stage 8 rows up in the loge there. Will was tapping his earpiece during the talk portion. When he wasn't singing he was gesturing and looking down and mouthing something to the tech guys on the floor near the b-stage so I think it was a problem with him being able to hear. Really couldn't say it flawed the songs though, I thought the b-stage set was lovely, particularly Chris doing "The Hardest Part" out there by himself. Thanks for the set list!!!! It was funny watching all the fans, particulaly the gang on the floor, get all hyped up over "The Blue Danube", a classical waltz which was the piece that played just before the boys took the stage. Fun!
  6. Hi Jessie! Was that you on the floor near Guys ramp with your sign. We had loge seats row 8 on that side too, just a bit further down, just opposite the b-stage. I do think I saw you, least I saw some one with that sign!! ( I really need glasses, lol!) I think no full coldplaying reviews and set lists yet because it's a week day and all us poor concert goers have school or work today so came home and headed to bed. I will post some pictures later, looks like I got some good ones. Here are a few random post concert thoughts... I'm a big fan of the song "Yes" and was ready to be disappointed when it didn't make it on the set list BUT since they included Cemetaries of London, it was a great trade. The Acoustic version of "The Hardest Part" was stunningly beautiful. It should have been released in that form. The extra video screens and use of the magic balls just gets better and better. The tech on this show is so well done. Chris's repeatedly riffing on Hall and Oats was typical Chris randomness and we love him for it. Don't hate me but I thought Yellow as the encore wasn't the best choice. Would have fit better earlier in the set, say just before b-stage. The crowd was LOUD, and coldplay fans are the best. I sat next to a lovely young couple who had homemade t-shirts and rocked hard the entire concert. You get energy from a crowd like that and it can make the night.
  7. for coldplaybirdsfly 89 tickets left on stub hub. That's darn near close to a sell out. to reigin of love Think you will still have great views, particularly of Guy and Will. I wish I didn't have to work today, I'd love to just chill until the drive to Boston.
  8. What section are you in? Last time I was pleasantly surprised how nice the view was from the side. Were were in 301 row 9. This time tommorow we'll be there!!
  9. Last time I was up in the nose bleeds and saw two different Roadies ( not Miller) come up and upgrade two different groups of fans. And that was just in my one section ( section 301) It was very early, I'd say not even 7:30. Oh, and I just checked this morning, Ticketmaster still has a few single seats left if anyone is desperate for tickets. Stubhub is showing 116 tickets still on offer.
  10. Judging by recent set list we may be out of luck for the immediate future. ::sad::
  11. Yup, I'd say you're right on with the time. Last time out they hit the stage at about 5 past 9. That was with two support acts. But still, I'd figure on 9ish. Oh and an update for coldplaybirdsfly: Stub hub says 178 tickets left.
  12. Glad you guys enjoyed them, I thought as a set they were great fun. And I agree with Cooky, I love the intense stare in that pic
  13. tis very hard to choose, but here goes: 1) Ladder to the Sun 2) Solid Ground 3) Sleeping Sun I really like some of the quieter rarities and b-sides. I think my favorite is a live version on Ladder to the Sun that I snagged here on the multimedia board. Also a live/impromptu version Solid Ground ( where you can hear Chris rambling on and on , filling in because in his own words "Fellas, the guitar is f*cked!" The b-side to talk, Sleeping Sun, grew and grew on me and is now one of my fave b-sides.
  14. Even the Oracle is a Will luver October 17, 2008 - submitted by agustin, Argentina Q. The other day I saw Coldplay's "Live at BBC". There I saw that when they played Viva la Vida they showed a TV where you could see the guys playing violins and similar instruments. Do they really know how to play them? The Oracle replies: The guys are not really playing the string section of that song. The TV clip is just a visual prop. That said Will is a multi-instrumentalist and can play the violin.

I really must be a perv too because this is always my favorite thread to visit when I hit the forum!
  16. I Love this thread! Oh, and I never knew there were so many photos in this series with Will. Particularly image # 4, very cute and funny!
  17. Just peeked this morning and stub hub has 254 listings and the stub hub seating map says there are 622 tickets available (I didn't notice the map gave an acutal ticket count before) So, the number of those dreaded unsold seats is going down, slowy but surely.
  18. Can't believe it's less than a week! I still can't quite beleive I have such seats this time, (loge 22, row 8 as opposed to way up in the balcony, row 13 last time). This is the closest seating I've ever managed to get for a Coldplay concert and I'm beyond excited!
  19. **too much Will cuteness!** Thanks for the great pictures
  20. Thanks for the update. Glad to see so many positive things coming to Zali's corner of the world.
  21. Love finding that old stuff is still there...particularly the old coldplayer radio
  22. Well, there are 352 listings many are for pairs of tickets, although some are for larger blocks, and a few are singles. So lets "guestimate" that stubhub has about 1000 tickets for that show. Considering that the TD Bank North Garden seats can seat up to 19,580 that's not too bad. Still have a bit more than a week for those to sell so I bet it will be close to an actual sell out.
  23. I think you must have had waaaaaaaaaaay better seats than me last time, lol. I was up in the rafters with the pigeons and not too many folks were dressed up. I can see thatat a venue like the Boston Garden on a weeknight you might get folks who are still dressed nice from work or a dinner out before the show. I'm gonna wear my Coldplaying Charity Club Tee I got through this forum.
  24. Love it Kimchi! Say Yes to YES!
