  1. Why would you need producers and mixing for a Greatest Hits album. Troll harder
  2. Since the multi quote is broken, i'll respond to all the above replies at once. I wouldn't count Coldplay out quite yet given their relationship with Apple as pointed out already. The only thing is if there's a scheduling conflict. iHeart is actually 18+19 not 17+18, but yes, coldplay are due for the 18th (just a technical thing I wanted to clear up, atlas2000), and Global Citizen is 26th. So, theres a window in between unless another act already nabbed it. Also, it appears iHeartRadio will be a mini set, but as far as I can see, Global Citizen has 4 acts in 7 hours, unless I can't see that they have an opener or something.
  3. Last ditch effort for a Monday release would be: 10:00 London = 5:00 New York = 2:00 Los Angeles Or y'know, nothing today and c ya next week
  4. ^ Yeah, i've got twitter on at work checking every couple of minutes.
  5. Ha, no worries. Actually, I think Coldplay might be the last of the 4 acts to play, so, it may actually be later than 3 pm, more like 7 perhaps?
  6. Maybe this helps? http://www.ticketmaster.com/global-citizen-festival-new-york-new-york-09-26-2015/event/00004EE38AD02D31 3 tiers of VIP and a big field for GA to romp in
  7. An anon 3 weeks back (who appeared to be correct in guessing the announcement of the upcoming gigs) said to expect a single in '2-3 weeks'. This is the last week and the beginning of the week when its likely to happen. Typically, I recall the band teasing about something on Monday on the previous Friday. We're hoping they're gonna come out of the blue on Monday without the usual tease. Still too early for Pacific time zone imo. 5:00 am over there.
  8. North America is just waking up, give it time ;)
  9. lol, I expect a major site slowdown to be the indicator of real news. At which point I would jump over to Coldplay's/Coldplaying's/ColdplayAtlas's Twitter.
  10. Well, I think the band would release news during an awake hour for London, New York and LA. Just makes sense to do this in order to have the most amount of eyes and ears on it by accommodating to 3 of the largest cities in the world. So, I would guess that would be 9am LA time = Noon NY time = 5pm London time on Monday; 17 hours away
  11. This is what I think the anon will do: -If nothing happens, he/she will try to pretend like it was a 'fake' anon masquerading as the original anon -If something happens, he/she will give us the 'I told you so' spiel and the fandom continues its blind faith of strange, mysterious, internet dwellers.
  12. Fix it mighty mod! Use your mod powers!
  13. A slightly more accurate countdown 'Cause the gates open at noon, but the acts play from 3-10.
  14. They did update the website recently. Well, it's no longer the GS theme. They did say this current theme isn't exactly the theme for LP7, but I would imagine its similar in the clean, minimalistic, colourful visuals Oh, I understand a bit better now. Yeah, I would lean towards them doing something before the show. But even if they don't, they're likely to play it AT the show(s) instead. I can stand to wait another month before virtually guaranteed Coldplay material edit: anyone else's multiquote button not working?
  15. I don't know about that. It just doesn't make sense for them to have their first gig of the new era, and NOT play the new song that they wanna show everyone. Either they have a new single and are gonna play it live or they don't have anything for us for a long time.
  16. Again, the best guess is this week according to a sketchy anon source. If not, then who knows....
  17. I've been of that mindset for the longest time. But if this doesn't pan out, then the alternate plan is just to wait a short while for with the first appearance @ iHeart in Las Vegas in ~ month.
  18. ^yeah, I think it just speaks to how quiet the band has been; it's not on anyone's radar except the fandom's
  19. This Monday wouldn't be a bad time to pay extra attention to Coldplay news outlets. Coldplay.com Facebook Twitter Instagram Tidal Apple Music ColdplayAtlas Coldplaying.com http://www.coldplaying.com/forum/threads/99898-LP7-quot-A-Head-Full-Of-Dreams-quot?p=5726062&viewfull=1#post5726062 ^sum: anon said within 2-3 weeks. Monday marks the start of the 3rd week. But I remember the band usually like to do a thing where they tease on Friday, and make us wait the weekend before dropping it on us on the Monday. Perhaps they'll forgo the tease and go straight for the drop? Who knows?
  20. You were the one who brought up this 'music video' talk.... http://www.coldplaying.com/forum/threads/99898-LP7-quot-A-Head-Full-Of-Dreams-quot?p=5726600&viewfull=1#post5726600 just sayin....
  21. Sweeeet. And if its on CW afterwards, we'll get a nice HQ download afterwards too edit: wait a minute, it says NBC on the picture tho. So NBC for Live, CW for replay? edit 2: Thought i'd make a countdown for the first post. Was it also an option to have a countdown forum-wide? I think that'd be neat. http://www.timeanddate.com/countdown/generic?msg=iHeartRadio%20Festival&p0=127&year=2015&month=9&day=18&hour=19&min=15&sec=0
  22. lol, quickly send out a makeup tweet!
  23. Oh I understand now. Yeah, I can see that being the case. Everyone just kinda assumed that since LP7 is rumoured to be due around that time that we'll see something new for this/these shows. My bet is we'll probably get something though
