yeh, but the live version sounds better (in my opinion) Personally, I tend to make the left hand part a little more interesting, using 5ths eg: Eb and Bb, Bb and F, F and C. And I jump between th two notes randomly, or in the 3,3,2 rhythm. Sometimes, if im really bored, I add in a 3rd.

I measure of how crap greenday are is this: walk into my schools guitar group, shout the word "greenday!", and you probably wont make it out alive. :D

While playing the chord just kind of move your fingers around, like your playing an arpegio of that chord. Kust experiment with different ways of playing.

well you can sing better than I can. My voice is the lower end of the spectrum....you know things are bad when you can sing lower than your own instrument...and you play bari sax :confused: Anyways..yeh...get into a band now!

just buy X&Y and play through it. I may take me a few months for one song, but at the end, you can play the piano! That method does require lots of patience though.

yeh. its good to start an instrument early, but not too early. I hate pushy parents, almost as much as i hate those stupid stuck up "im grade 8 and im only 11" kids. They cant write a good tune or improvise, but what the hell, theyre in the national youth orchestra, which obvoiusly makes them so much better than me :wink3: yeh rite :)

In my opinion, it doesnt matter how few or how many lessons you have, if you have no musical talent, youll always be crap. blunt and to the point eh? :lol:

YEH!! go tenor. I love it almost as much as bari.... Ive been playin piano for a year (taught myself) and already i can play quite alot. I could benefit from real lessons though

i once went to the royal school of music for the day, but the bastards almost threw me out when i played jazz. I shouldv played some iron maiden or something: that wouldve shaken them up. :D

Yeh, cos you always play out of tune :P . Why do we tune to oboes anyway? should be clarinets. (not that im biased) But I think we all have to agree: the best instrument in the orchestra is the bass trombone. Its only just legal. they tried to get it banned at the geneva convention, but to no avail.
