I use an old rhodes 770 keyboard. Its starting to die though, which is shame: its a really nice peice of equipment, and has almost limitless sounds. My amp, however, is a different story. I built it myself, after scavenging parts from various other amps. It has a 30W circuit, but only a 10W speaker.....oh dear :/ :P

grd 7 cello + clarinet. I think you might just count that as classical! I taught myself sax and keyboard, and im workin on guitar. Classical training isnt necessary, but it can be a great help.

Heres my first attempt at Gravity. I kinda made it..err..bigger, though :lol: I did it using an old rhodes keyboard, an electronic drumkit, and some free recording software (check it out at http://audacity.sourceforge.net ). finale is much, much better. go to http://www.finalemusic.com and look for "finale notepad". that software is free, but a slightly better version "finale printmusic" is available for £40 having tried this and noteworthy, id definatly say finale is better.

try some pink floyd. True, theyre not LIKE coldplay, but coldplay did kinda evolve from theyre kinda music. You can definatly here some floyd-esque stuff in coldplay, and visa versa.
