that's quite difficult to respond! Anyway, i think you'll be paid, 'cos your boss told you that (although I haven't had too many jobs - only a couple - so I don't have too many experience about this "world"). What's more, you're successful in your job, aren't you? So, regarding this, I wouldn't be worried about the money, you have a contract, so you wouldn't have any problem with them. Don't you think if you quit now, you couldn't get your wage but if you work there at least 1month, then they'll have to pay you for the month you've worked? so... regarding your question, I wouldn't quit the job now, but I'd be looking for another more interesting or even more well-paid, and in the moment i'd be sure, i'd take a decision and quit the job.
