Not soon enough! Sorry, my birthday's at the end of the week and that feels like it'll take an eternety to come. Though the day after it is the first day back at school from the holidays so it's pretty bittersweet.

What? :angry: Please tell me this means Violet Hill will be released to download in three weeks and the CD formats a few weeks later a la most first singles off album nowadays and not what I think it means. But still, 42 as first real single is still a possibility. Edit - the more I think of it, the more plausible it seems. Violet Hill as a download-only preview on May 5, then they've got a month to promote 42 or whatever the 1st single may be so they can release it physically a month later, 1 or 2 weeks before the album comes out.

It shouldn't really matter if they're making it up - it cant be that different to the song itself. Fake or not, it's gotten us all excited in which times like this can only be a good thing.

The fact that this thread is only 2 pages long after 17-04-2008 indicates either 1. Coldplay fans are ignorant or 2. Fake Maybe Coldplay have gone in a very different direction for the new album?

If it's out early next month then we should hear the song and see the video VERY VERY soon now.

That's an interesting theory, I like where you're going there, though both videos could have the guys in it. The thing with music vids is really they could've been shot at any place at any time, so the vid for 42 may have already been shot and it could still be the first single - we've heard no info that Violet Hill will 100% absolutley definatley be the first single - anything could come up.
