With all the madness going about with Violet Hill I totally forgot about this!

I think it's Viva la Vida now, at least I hope it is! I want to hear it! Either that, or VLV will end up sounding exactly as FOP was described, with horns and the words "Famous Old Painters" sung somewhere, and then FOP will be announced as a b-side for the 3rd or 4th single making us all explode for varying reasons.

Damn, wont be able to tune in! But still, when I log on Wednesday after school I'm gonna be in for a treat!

Nope, doesnt come out here commercially as far as I know. Some newsagents and such may stock it but don't put heaps of money on the 7" coming with it, your best bet is probably to order it.

Fuuuuuuuck. I want it but I'm broke! :\ Buuut - all news is good news! And the artwork looks swish. I knew Coldplay wouldn't let me down on this one! I didn't read through all 12 pages but has it been said that there will be a download without the b-side of Violet Hill, and it's probably not the first proper single? The first proper single will probably be 42 and will be released on CD, Download and 7" and will be chart eligable.

Good night! ;) So at the moment we're unsure if it's someone taking the piss or legit at the moment, I guess the only way to know for sure is to wait for the official announcement.

I dont really mind anymore, I'm addicted to coldplaying.com messageboards now. Dont need an official one to distract me. I think the reason the official one got shut down was because of the spam levels dominating the boards.

I dont believe for a second that it's real, but it's still a very nice piece of art.

OK it's too early to tell what the music videos will be like for songs off this album seeing as we havent heard it yet (which is making me a little too excited and impatient). I couldn't find the appropriate thread to post this in though so we may have to just go on song titles and descriptions or something. Though I have noticed that the music vids for the last 3 albums have all had a theme, but with VLV being a brand new direction it may not follow that anymore. My observation, the 1st single always seems to be a performance vid where the band are playing in a room somewhere. Shiver - Performing in a room with things lying everywhere In My Place - Performing in an empty room Speed Of Sound - Performing in a dark room with a big light board behind them Violet Hill - ? The second single seems to have Chris walking around slowly somewhere Yellow - on the beach The Scientist - backwards Fix You - down a city street, and a concert at the end The third single seems to have a less obvious theme, that they're all very dark in colour Trouble (UK Version) - Chris tied up in a dark parking lot at night Clocks - Performing in a dark room with the only light around the band Talk - In the deep dark depths of space And the fourth and last single always seems to be something a little more dangerous, arty, freaky and even a little disturbing Dont Panic - The band as 2D cutouts, pretty freaky GPASUYF - A man slowly and painfully vanishes from the face of the earth. Pretty freaky. The Hardest Part - A pretty much naked man does a dance routine with an 80 year old woman. Doesn't get much freakier than that! Or does it?
