If Coloratura Had a Music Video?
I'm glad there wasn't one tbh. I'm not sure they would've done it justice.

LP11 speculations and news
I'm just speculating. But it sounds like the film portion of the musical is nowhere near done, and I don't see what Solid Ground would be doing on the soundtrack. It makes far more sense as a self titled track.

So we're getting self-titled before MOTS3 after all?

LP11 speculations and news
Moon Music gave the game away I think. It was Coldplay’s biggest commercial disappointment (Everyday Life doesn’t count because they intentionally didn’t promote it much) and yet it coincided with one of the highest grossing tours of all time.

LP11 speculations and news
The MOTS tour didn’t change much in terms of content or attendance with the release of Moon Music and I don’t expect any different with the release of LP11. What it comes down to is this - one of the biggest bands of all time are visiting your city, are you going or not?

Seems to be following the same production schedule as Moon Music so far- Unreleased Songs - A 2026 Discussion Thread
Is there a onedrive mirror? DM me- Indie Blasphemy - MOTS remix album
I was playing around with some of the pop songs too. I put the outro of My Universe at the end of Good Feelings. It works better than you'd think! There's also an extended Aeterna, where the demo intro is used before the album version kicks in. Good Feelings.mp3 Aeterna (extended).mp3- Indie Blasphemy - MOTS remix album
Hey, we got the forums back! Here’s a present. I got a bit of traction back in the day with a Wedding Album edit, and I’ve made my own version of Music of the Spheres. This one does away with all the pop songs and focuses purely on the ambient/arty stuff. I feel like it’s more like a Brian Eno record in this form. Or like a sister to Ghost Stories. I can’t post it to YouTube because of leaks, but you lot might get some enjoyment out of it. I know I’ve posted it in the past but I’ve made a few changes since. So if this intrigues you, please give it a listen. 1. ♾️ - includes pitch-shifted MOTS1 as an intro, before heading into a remix I did of Infinity Sign using the stems. This mix is more ambient (think Midnight) and removes the Ole chant. 2. ✨ - Earthling (slowed down version) plus Alien Choir as an outro. 3. 🌈 - extends the heavy Neon Forest section, and adds the full length Angelsong at the end. 4. 🌎 - One World. Removes the full band outro so it sounds more like the original live version. An extended choir section adds an ambient texture. No Orange! 5. ❤️ - removes We Are King, shortened to an interlude. 6. 🌙 - Moon Music. Uses the full length Forever Held as an intro. The outro fades out on its own without transitioning into FLIFIL. 7. 🪐 - just Coloratura. Why fuck with perfection. Gave it an emoji song title for consistency’s sake. 8. 👋 - uses the extended intro from the demo, before transitioning into the released version. Overall length - 44:10 Music of the Spheres (Indie Blasphemy mix)richardsallis's project on [untitled]- Unreleased Songs - A 2026 Discussion Thread
Isn't the "normal" version of Earthling just the alien one slowed down? Unless there's been another leak I'm not aware of- LP11 speculations and news
Hey, I can't say I'm the biggest fan of their approach either. I'm just saying I get why they do it. It's certainly not how I wanted their career to go, 2008 me would be devastated to hear how things panned out. But it is what it is, and you make the most of it.- LP11 speculations and news

The problem with Coldplay from MX onwards isn't that they just stopped being great. If that were the case I wouldn't be wasting my time here. The problem is they stopped being consistently great. Every era with the possible exception of AHFOD has produced some of their best work ever. Moon Music on the whole might be on the more mediocre side of things, but Rainbow is easily in my top 10 favourite Coldplay songs ever. The leaks prove they still had it in them to create Oldplay level masterpieces - the talent and creativity is still very much there. They just choose to release more divisive material instead. And I don't blame them for that approach, honestly. As disappointing as it is for a fan, it makes perfect sense career wise. When they made Viva la Vida, Chris openly said it was their attempt to become to biggest AND best band in the world. Biggest? Certainly worked, the title track was an enormous hit and it was one of the best selling albums of the year. Best? Sadly not. In spite of Brian Eno working some goddamn miracles with them, critics were (unfairly imo) as divided as ever. I think the penny dropped in that moment, Coldplay were never going to win over the critics no matter what they did. What they COULD do is win over mainstream radio listeners, so the focus switched to that. You could argue it worked. Right now Coldplay are playing the biggest rock band tour of all time. Would they have gotten on those stages without songs like Paradise, A Sky Full of Stars, Something Just Like This or even My Universe? Probably not. And honestly we should be thrilled they're still dropping songs like Rainbow, Coloratura and Arabesque in spite of it not being commercially advantageous to do so. The fact the next two albums (apparently) won't feature singles gives me hope the band will focus on being consistently great again, and end their discography on a positive note. Will that actually happen? Who knows, but I'll bet at least a handful of great songs will come out of it. And that's a handful of great songs which didn't exist before, so I'll happily take them.- The NEW 2024 Leaks Thread
Weezer is the gold standard for releasing leaks to combat bootleggers. Rivers Cuomo released EVERYTHING. Like giant zip folders with thousands upon thousands of mp3s inside. I don't expect another artist to ever do that again, let alone Coldplay.- The NEW 2024 Leaks Thread
What I meant was Moon Music was originally revealed to be MOTS2, and I didn't like MOTS. Another volume of the same thing was the last thing I wanted from Coldplay. Thankfully once the leaks started happening, it became apparent that Moon Music was going to have its own, much better sound. So I was able to get excited for it.- The NEW 2024 Leaks Thread

I'm genuinely curious how many We Pray remixes are still in the vault I know for a fact there's at least one they somehow had the self-restraint not to release. Although there's still time- LP11 speculations and news
I don't think the 23 track release is coming out. It's more likely the record company has a playlist of unreleased/leaked songs set up so they can ping for copyright every time someone uploads them. It's not uncommon practice. At the very least, it means a studio recording of Shine On exists and someone at the label has it. Whether it will actually come out soon, who knows.- LP11 speculations and news
It just clicked for me now he was probably talking about the Full Moon edition. Ah well- The NEW 2024 Leaks Thread
It's a mixed blessing. I remember the old days and I try not to get too nostalgic about them, but around Viva this place was incredible. That being said, a massive leak like last years never would've flown on the old Coldplaying. It would've been shut down immediately like they did on reddit. So I'm grateful the board was able to facilitate that in its old age. On a side note, finding posts of mine which are 20 yeas old is a great way to feel ancient.- The NEW 2024 Leaks Thread
