I'm the opposite, I wasn't looking forward to Yes at all until I read the shoegazery thing. It's not like Coldplay have never touched on Shoegaze before, A Whisper is pretty much a Shoegaze track.

Even though Cemeteries Of London was dubbed by the media as the most likely first single, it has the amazing amount of 0 votes so far. Seems like 42 is a sure thing. Now let's watch Coldplay fool us all again.

They've got about 20 songs from what I've read, and what they've left off wouldn't have been left off because they're not great songs, it'd be because it doesn't fit onto the tracklisting too well. An album with too many tracks would get boring eventually regardless great they are.

The Young Knives Superabundance is my fav so far, but it's still early days. Viva La Vida and The Boxer Rebellion album are going to be great.

I'm thinking the 2nd single will be a slower ballady song, and the video will probably have Chris walking around slowly somewhere. :laugh3: I've got a feeling Cemeteries or Violet Hill will be the 3rd one.

Anyone noticed how track 3 always seems to be a darker song? Spies, GPASUYF, White Shadows. Do you think Lost will follow that theme? I hope so as track 3 and track 1 have always been my favs in the past.

Oh yes, I've been hanging out for this one! Hot Fuzz is probably in my top 10 of all films I've seen. :D Cant wait

Is the song gonna be played during the credits or just in a part of the film, I cant remember.

I'm looking forward to the artwork too, hopefully it'll be intreging and different. But what I really want now is to hear some tracks! Titles, artwork and such mean shit all if the songs aren't there. But that's just me, known for my impatience. :laugh3:

For me in the past the opening track has always been one of the strongest and definitive of the album, I hope VLV doesn't break that trend!
