Blue Eyes
somehow i don't care if i offend RICH musicians like Coldplay. i would buy an unofficial good b-sides compilation for example, of course for reasonable price. but buying a bootleg, never. only if it's soundboard and official, but this one isn't

Blue Eyes
on the back cover it says: "The Godfatherrecords" it has nothing to do with Coldplay..officialy i can't believe a radio station would play a pirate album.

Blue Eyes
i really see no point in buying unofficial CDs if you ask me ;) Blue Eyes is just another compilation of Coldplay songs like Castles, A Rsuh Of B-sides etc. it's not worth to buy it, especially if we consider that's it's a bootleg recording and not even soundboard

[2006 Coldplaying World Of Music World Cup] Group stage & KO round
if only i could do it, i would never let Radiohead and Elliott Smith face each other already in the 1/8 finals ;)

why Coldplay are not in this WC: 1. The World Of Music...that isn't Coldplay, believe it or not... 2. Coldplay would win this WC easily, because this is a Coldplay forum although it would be interesting to see Coldplay competing in this one...BUT NOT ON THIS FORUM most people who post in the world of music are Coldplay fans and NOT music fans if you get what i mean ^ the last one my personal opinion- [2006 Coldplaying World Of Music World Cup] Group stage & KO round
i would like to see a Radiohead vs U2 battle in the final, but i highly doubt it will happen these 2 bands are the 2 most important bands of the last 20 years. U2 dominated the 80s, Radiohead the 90s. that would be a dream final i have to say- [2006 Coldplaying World Of Music World Cup] Group stage & KO round
for me both semis are quite easy Beatles - Radiohead Radiohead easily. it's hard to compare these 2 bands and i'm not saying that Radiohead are a better band, but in this case i listen to more Radiohead than Beatles and i enjoy Radiohead by far more than Beatles. although, Beatles are one of my faves as well Muse - U2 U2 easily. U2's earlier stuff is truly amazing i have to say. War and Joshua Tree would be in my top 100 albums of all time probably. although, they haven't released nothing good, fresh and exciting since the end of 80s...that's bad but i still prefer them to Muse which have released 4 studio albums and none of them excited me too much- Elliott Smith
just some lyrics of today's Elliott's morning listening compilation: "nobody broke your heart, you broke your own because you can’t finish what you start nobody broke your heart, if you’re alone it must be you that wants to be apart" "cause you laugh and talk and cause you make my world rock" "he said really I just wanna dance good and evil matched perfect it's a great romance i can deal with some psychic pain if it'll slow down my higher brain veins full of disappearing ink vomiting in the kitchen sink disconnecting from the missing link"- [2006 Coldplaying World Of Music World Cup] Group stage & KO round
1/2 finals Radiohead - The Beatles Muse - U2 kinda, very predictable i say and i'll make the votes public in the semi-finals to avoid the the double/triple accounts to vote (hopefully there wasn't any till now)- [2006 Coldplaying World Of Music World Cup] 1/4 finals - Oasis vs U2

bumpage! there's around 12-13 hours left to vote- [2006 Coldplaying World Of Music World Cup] 1/4 finals - Oasis vs U2
huh, 56 votes, that's a lot bump! vote vote vote who haven't yet- How many singles Stadium Arcadium will have?
if we consider an American band can afford to release more albums than a norm (see Green Day and their American Idiot LP. if i'm not wrong they had 5 singles on that one and every single had a video lol) i'm going with 6 this time because i want to laugh- How many singles Stadium Arcadium will have?
damn, i can't edit poll options under the last option i mean: their label will release songs from Stadium Arcdium as singles till there's no left- 2006: this year's releases thread
haha this RHCP thingie gave me a good idea to create a new thread haha yes, many albums were disappointing i agree, but i still think it's a good year so far and let's see what we'll have in the next 5 and a half months ;) the new Killers is coming, though i'm not expecting too much- How many singles Stadium Arcadium will have?
releasing a double album is a big risk in my opinion, it might turn into the best record ever or the opposite: quite weak and boring the question is: how many singles RHCP will release from their longest LP? in normal case a band releases 3-4 singles from a single album, but hey, it's a double one - 2x more songs so it might mean 6-8 singles? would be fun i think lol however, i'd like to see some opinions note: there's already 2 singles if i'm not wrong- 2006: this year's releases thread
ok, will check that one but not this week  this week is about 2006, i listen only to this year's albums since days :D i'm still trying to get into the new Keane, but with no succes atm. i d/loaded Stadium Arcadium but still haven't listened to it, maybe i will though i don't really want to :freak:- 2006: this year's releases thread
haha not really i'm actually trying to listen to everything that i can and i find interesting, especially if we consider how easy is to get the albums from the internet nowadays yes, i heard their older stuff is pretty massive, might check them out. though i really didn't like 10000 days :/- 2006: this year's releases thread
i haven't heard Snow Patrol yet, might give them a try though. not really familiar to them Keane's new one is average IMO, some songs are better than the average on H&F and some are worse. although Atlantic is a brilliant song. next album i will try will be St. Elsewhere i think, has to be really good according to the critics- You have to face this question...
funny? lol i can't really laugh on this one. and it looks really stupid when Chris and Jonny laugh at something if you ask me though maybe it's a joke video, but why the fuck they prefered it over What If? might be EMI- 2006: this year's releases thread
i wouldn't say that. maybe there wasn't any really big releases/surprises (yet) like Arcade Fire was 2 years go or Sufjan Stevens a year ago. but there's still many good albums out there :) i can think of 7 really good albums (listed them above), 3-4 average and around 6-7 weak - [2006 Coldplaying World Of Music World Cup] Group stage & KO round
