  1. this thread's for you then  i hope we can make our Pitchfork here, Coldplaying Pitchfork, sounds awful though :o we just need more people who could recommend some stuff
  2. ^ highly recommended, Grace ;) it seems this thread has died before it has even started
  3. ok another question: if you like this video, would you like it as well if it would be by another artist (let's say which isn't your favourite)?
  4. i really don't understand the meaning of the video
  5. is it embarrassing for you to watch the The Hardest part video? it is for me. i still can't believe it's a Coldplay video :disappointed: EDIT: and if you like it would you like it as well if this video wouldn't be by Coldplay?
  6. U2's 80s stuff is better than any album that Oasis has ever done and will ever do
  7. if only Keira Knightley would sing  :wink3:
  8. i think the best one was "Blame Ed!" thread :uhoh2:

  14. i think i should check out Gnarls Barkley, i've read good stuff about them here are my recommendations: 1. Destroyer - Destroyer's Rubies - probably the best album of the year so far, if you want good indie pop-rock with some blues and jazz effects, you MUST get it!!! genre: alternative/indie pop-rock 2. Thom Yorke - The Eraser - a solo effort of one of the most influential artists of all time and it's great. and it's THOM YORKE!!! so you must buy it anyway. genre: alternative/electronic pop 3. Guillemots - Through The Windowpane - the biggest surprise of the year for me, i downloaded the album some hours ago and after the first listening it made my top 5 of the year. wow! genre: alternative/indie pop-rock 4. The Flaming Lips - At War With The Mystics 5. Sufjan Stevens - The Avalanche honorable mentions: - TV On The Radio - Return To Cookie Mountain - Ratatat - Classics although, this list might change pretty much because i haven't listened to many albums yet ...and stuff you can easily forget because it sucks: 1. Angels & Airwaves - We Don't Need To Whisper 2. Razorlight - Razorlight 3. Tool - 10000 Days 4. Muse - Black Holes And Revelations 5. Paul Oakenfold - A Lively Mind
  15. just d/loaded and listened to their latest album and it's fantastic!!! agreed with Dave, it's one of the best album i've heard this year
  16. funny how this topic (as well) turned into an off-topic about USA, American history and personal attacks lol about Israel - Lebanon conflict... as far as i can see this time we will avoid a world war, it seems to be "only" a conflict between these 2 countries which is not the first and perhaps not the last in their history. though considering the modern weapons you never know how huge might this conflict be
  17. kay, let's have a topic in which we could discuss albums/EPs/even singles which were released this year rate, review and recommend them to other members soon i'll post my list of albums that i heard this year so far plus with some rates and notes feel free to update
  18. ^ nobody wants a war, it's all about capital. war/conflict is only a consequence of wanting too much capital is Putin's regime is as repressive as the Soviet Union's was? YES. there's no democracy in Russia at the moment and won't be any in the next years till Putin and his people are controlling and running the Russian government. what that man is doing with the country is terrible (personal experiences), though in some points it's a foul of the biggest part of Russian citizens who voted for him 2 years ago (personally i couldn't since i'm not 18 yet). around 70(!!!) % voted for him...though don't believe the numbers because as it's said in the article the media is under government's control, but it's true that the most people in Russian are "blind" and can't see and analyze the real situation although, the Russian citizens live in lies...and IT IS really hard to find truthful informations and reliable sources for most of them
  19. i think we are ready for the next season
  20. surprisingly, Beatles beating Pink Floyd too easily...there's no such a difference between these 2 vote! EDIT: This poll is closed The Beatles - Pink Floyd 31-17 discussion: http://www.coldplaying.com/forum/showthread.php?t=31984
  21. this would be the perfect final for me, but unfortunately not this year... these 2 bands are far my 2 favourites, sadly they faced each other already in the 1/4 finals... less than 1 hour left, vote who haven't yet :wideeyed: EDIT: This poll is closed Radiohead - Sigur Ros 25-21 discussion: http://www.coldplaying.com/forum/showthread.php?t=31984
