yes, he covered Beatles many times, and yes he sings Because in American Beauty (i can upload it if you want). he also played Lennon's Jealous Guy at his gigs quite often Beatles were his favourite band so don't be surprised if many songs will sound like Beatles, some of his songs like a dedication to them

yes, i think AROBTTH is still their best album i'd give it 9.2 out of 10 but i have to agree with samdevos that Parachutes is their most classic and most original album, though it's weaker than A Rush Of Blood, i'd give Parachutes 8.0

thanks Steph, though i think i'll skip X&Y this time i need time to appreciate it once again as i did 1 year ago when it came out :/ don't know, but X&Y still sounds like their worst work to me. X&Y is too confusing and artificial IMO

his family i guess and actually according to wikipedia it can't be J.Chiba's voice, i was wrong i think, it's either his sister or Joanna Bolme (ex-girlfriend) + "Ostriches & Chirping" has nothing to do with Elliott, it's simply not his song...it is David McConnell's song, he recorded it himself...but don't ask me why it's on the album, i have no idea + that proves that this record is quite mixed and we'll never know i guess which songs were on the original track list
