Yep half the Christmas tree. It comes in like 3 parts. the base, the bottom bit and emm...the top bit lol. And I only have the bottom bit. So I guess I have 1/3 of the tree then! haha Christmas eve here too. in about 20 minutes actually! Got to get my last minute shopping done! argh you all set?

I was having this discussion at work today (It was Christmas Eve Eve and we were the last 2 people left in my dept:veryangry: ) If you could stalk ANYONE without them ever finding out, like you're invisible or something, who would you stalk? wayne's world! Not seen that in ages! Yeah doesn't feel like christmas here either. I just arrived home tonight for Christmas to no Christmas decorations....not even a tree [sob]. My Dad's just out of hospital so my brother had brought down all the Christmas stuff down out the attic before he left to go to his girlfriend's. So while my Dad was asleep I was gonna put it all up for him. But he's only brought down HALF of the Christmas tree!! lol

my 2006 wasn't great. Lots of hurt and heartbreak. parents divorce, friends falling out, crap love life, no money........ On the plus side tho I've been to loads of gigs this year. I moved to the city recently so I'm hoping for a better 2007! :0(

eessh that's a toughie. I kind of understand. I have been friends with my best friend since we were in Primary School. About 4 yrs ago we were out one night and she met this guy. I instantly took a dislike to him. He was an arrogant prick - so not who I would have imagined she would have chosen! So I didn't think anything of it at the time because I was sure she would see sense soon enough! And now...4 yrs down the line, she's engaged to him,. they have a house, talking about moving to Canada....and I still can't stand him. To make matters worse, she doesn't know I don't like him! Also I found our recently that during an argument one night he had tried to bloody strangle her!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He's a horrible, selfish man and I wish she would see it! As a result of this, I haven't seen her as much. I don't want to be near him. She doesn't know I know about that incident so it's really hard to be normal around him. I miss my best friend! :cry: So I do kind of understand your situation. You feel so frustrated that you can't do anything about it. Like they're slipping away from you a little bit at a time. It really hurts.:cry:

I have WAY overspent. BUt they way I see it. I'd rather spend a wee bit more and get someone a present they'll appreciate rather than just buying some crap for the sake of it (which I have been known to do in the past! lol) Did you not find it difficult buying CDs - Knowing people's tastes or even if they actually have it already!
