I know! I find it amazing that we can still communicate somehow even if we don't understand a word of what the other is saying. When I was teaching english in Italy one of my fellow teachers met her boyfriend while there. She met him in her first week when she didn't speak ANY Italian and he didn't speak ANY english! I always found that amazing. It's like the Colin Firth storyline in Love Actually! lol I never thought anything like that could genuinely happen! I met another woman who was Austrian, her husband was Italian and they communicated in english! hehe
