Hm, The Verve have played about 2 or 3 new tunes so far and they seem to have gone down well. I think people still do care. I can't see Liverpool on the list of venues on TicketMaster, so I guess if you're planning on going to the Liverpool gig you can only book on GigsAndTours?

Chris and Jonny were just on MTV News talking about the Jay-Z/Glastonbury debate. Jonny said: "I cant understand what all the fuss is about" (laughing) While Chris said: "It's like Mozart playing somewhere in Camden (didn't catch the name) - you wouldn't complain, you'd go and see him cos he's brilliant! It's a case of unfamiliarity - people that don't like him (Jay-Z) are probably c***s" (laughing) I probably got that quite wrong, but that's sort of basically what they said :P Perhaps that was part of a longer interview they recorded that will surface soon, so keep your eyes and ears peeled! Also, anyone that is able to rip that and upload it, please do! It's on the MTV News segments in between programmes on MTV.

I need to burn a copy of a DVD I have for a friend. What are the best DVDs to use, i.e. what brand, best value for money etc? I've heard some are 'double-sided' and you can get more on them - would they be best to use?

Well, I remembered that we bought a DVD player from Richer Sounds a year or so ago and for some reason we unplugged it and put it away (very odd...). So I dug it out and it enables you to change the settings so you can play DVDs from any country in the world, there's a list of codes for different regions which you enter with the remote control. So now I'm good to go :D Thanks for the advice!

One of Trevor McDonald's 'Tonight' shows was about ticket scams a while ago. This guy bought a Rugby World Cup ticket from some dodgy ticket site for something crazy like £300, and was told to pick the ticket up in a cafe in Paris. The guy never showed up and he didn't get his ticket. So... BE CAREFUL!!!

Ah sorry lol, it's when people are skeptical of someone elses motives and are pessimistic towards something. Like people might be cynical of Coldplay promoting Make Trade Fair as they think they're jumping on the bandwagon and doing it to make themselves look good etc.

Their jeans and t-shirt look was one of the reasons I fell in love with Coldplay - they just seemed so 'normal' (not that cool, fashionable stuff isn't normal!) but they just looked like proper students which I really loved :P
