She opens her eyes in the morning, rolls over and sees a nude Jonny Buckland - what more could a girl want!! :lol: I wonder how on earth she met and started going out with him. How does someone get that lucky?

How awful - and on your first day driving. Happened to me too recently - some idiot went through a red light and hit the side of my car. It's a horrible shock and a pain with all the insurance paperwork etc. But what counts is that you're okay :)

That is a travesty... I can only assume people are voting with their eyes closed or everyone who voted is six years old :confused:

Jonny began playing the guitar when he was about 11. His brother taught him. He can't read music though. Don't think any of them can? Will used to be a guitarist before taking up the drums to be in the band. They needed someone to drum on a track they were recording and Will helped out. And as you say Steph, the rest is history! :)

I've been to a few of their concerts and they are about an hour and a half - from about 9:30 to 11pm. That's pretty normal in the UK. Sometimes there is a curfew on the venue so they aren't allowed to go later... but I haven't seen a 'short' coldplay concert before. They always do three tracks as an encore after the main set. Agreed it is quality, not quantity. The shows really are amazing - well worth it.

Her name is Vicki Taylor and she has been with them for at least the past three years. It is her in the picture. I don't think there is too much to tell - she is the boys personal assistant so she travels with them and sorts out all their stuff backstage and gets them things that they needs both on and off tour. Basically helps to organise their lives whenever they need her. What did you want to know? :)

Jonny's degree was in maths and astronomy so he'd be the perfect tutor - not that you'd be able to concentrate on algebra with him leaning over your desk... :lol:

It wouldn't surprise me if Will's wife was pregnant - they've been married for over two years so it's natural progression! But if she was I don't think the newspaper would pick up on it until the child was born as no one really knows what Marianne looks like... I think Guy and Jonny will have kids sometime in the next few years. Guy's been married for a year so he probably does want to have a family at some point in the not to distant future (sorry ladies!) :( Jonny's been with his girlfriend for three years and they live together. They're all in serious relationships so I reckon they will sometime not that far away - however weird it would seem! They are almost thirty and their girlfriend/wives probably are too, so it wouldn't be crazy!

I saw it too and Will definately looked like he didn't want to say no or yes... his smile looked like there was something he was hiding! Maybe there'll be two nice surprises next year! :)

It's a kids programme - it's been going for years and years. When guests/kids go on the show, or when kids enter their competitions they get given a badge. When we were young getting a blue peter badge was a big deal. Apparently it still is! :)

They'll be filming it tonight at the BBC, as the show is not aired live - they always record it the night before. Anyone live near the BBC in London? :)

Oh - and just checked the Top 20 Single's list (as voted by Q readers) and Speed of Sound has taken the number 9 spot too! :)

Have typed out the interesting bits, missing out the very general stuff: "Coldplay have cemented their position as Britain's biggest band, with their album X&Y named the best of 2005. The recording, which went straight into number one in 28 countries and became the 2nd fastest selling album in British history after its release in June, was given by Q magazine. Runner-up was Demon Days by Gorillaz, teh second album from the cartoon hip hop group created by Damon Albarn of Blur. Kaiser Chiefs were third with their debut album, Employment, which has sold 2.5 million copies since March. .... (stuff about Kaiser Chiefs...) Fourth place went to Oasis's Don't Believe the Truth, which Q said was "their most vital since the Britpop glory days". In 5th place was I'm Wide Awake, It's Morning by the little-known American band Bright Eyes. ...(more general stuff...) The main text is Chris' handwriting but some of the pictures are in Jonny's handwriting and I think the others are in Will's.

I know - lucky lady... and those aren't even the best pictures. How sad for the rest of us! No chance of wooing Jonny away from her :lol:

It was a kinda odd atmosphere at the start of the event - really exciting on one hand because of all the music etc but everyone felt kind of weird being all happy because it was about poverty and there were lots of pictures/videos about people living in poverty and starving children etc. People felt slightly uncomfortable about cheering. Got better as the show went on as people relaxed a bit. Either that or someone really crap had come on stage! :lol:

Here are two from earlier threads - one from Live8 and one of the ones from the venue. Can't find the others - the one with Will and the girl sitting together. I think someone should start an 'all you know about Will thread' as this is not about Jonny anymore! :( Bring back Jonny-talk! :)

In a thread a little while ago there was a picture of Gwyneth and Apple at Live8 and with her was a dark haired girl in a blue shirt (a getty image one I think). A while later there were some fuzzy distant pictures of Will cosying up with a girl at a venue, and the girl looked similar to the Live8 girl... does that make sense?! Anyway, everyone decided that the girl was most likely Will's wife Marianne. So not confirmed as her but most likely, based on the photos.

Me too - then I'd have them all lined up on the shelf in order looking pretty and colourful... how sad! :lol:

The black cover is really great. The code looks brilliant against it. It would be cool if you could buy them all separately to make up a colour-coded set... expensive album though :)
