It seems that the only people who deny the holocaust are their enemies - Arabs and Nazi's. Understandable i suppose - your not supposed to feel sympathy for the enemy. Actually Nearly everytime a president has been elected every 20 years or so hes died in office. 1960, Kennady, 1940, Roosevelt, 1920 - Harding? (i cant remember) all the way to Lincoln and beyond. Its a book by Danny Wallace, he wanted people to Join him so he put an ad in the paper and people joined. there are 25,000 Joinees in the world and every friday they have to commit a random act of kindness. They have regular meetups which is all fun and a great excuse to get drunk! Its a really fun book, well worth a look!

So they're going to spend massive amounts of money on building this highway, and create a union no one wants just so they can eliminate illegal immigration by making it legal? Sounds a bit far fetched. Wouldnt it be cheaper to build a wall between the US and Mexico and have it properly defended? Wouldnt it make it easier for people from other Latin America countries to get to the us?

Capitalism is a system that needs constant growth. Immigrants provide that growth - more people to sell to, more people working for less. Your and indeed the world economy depends on growth created by immigrants. Sound reasonable? Think of the people who emmirgrate - since your americans we'll use mexico and USA as an example. They are young educated people who are seduced by the promise of life in America (who isnt?) So they want to go there- fair enough, cant do it legally - too poor or unskilled so they have to become illgeals. Now these people are young and educated - which means that the country they leave behind - Mexico will suffer a decrease in the birth rate and not grow as it should. They take low income jobs in USA because they're arent skilled enough for higher paid jobs. Back in Mexico they suffer because of a large number of the workforce has gone to the US. Its bad for Mexico economy. The US thou gets more people doing lower paid jobs which works out great for companies trying to grow. Cheap labour= More Profit. However with the current backlash against immigrants people use them as an excuse for various things such as crime. Historically cultures havent mixed well. Resentment on both sides grow. I should point out i live in London - I moved here myself a few months ago from up north and i think immigrants are fantastic - They clean our streets, serve our food and drinks, drive our buses (badly) and they tend to be prettier than English girls (even the blokes!) I do however think its a shame that i can get on the bus and be the only (seemingly) English person on it, and considering its the Capital of England i think theres something not quite right.

What do you mean PARTLY HIS MESS???? Its all his fault, he led America and Britain into a war which the majorty of the people in both countries did not want. at the time i was all for the war, but alot of people in both countries didnt want it, and this is supposed to be a democracy where the many have more say then the few. Anyway Iraq is a mess, and we cant leave it as it is now, we need soultions not waste time pointing fingers. How would you guys solve the Iraq issue?
