  1. Yea, I've been into muse for about a year, but only recently have I become obsessed. Looking at every muse video on youtube, lol. Its gonna be a 9 hour drive for me, but I think it will be worth it.
  2. I'm seeing em in Atlanta in august. Should be amazing! Muse is my new obsession. Gotta fill the gaps somwhere while coldplay take a break. I love their new cd as well.
  3. I agree. City of Delusion is my 2nd fav on the cd. I dont really like invincible though.
  4. Good for chris. About time he stood up to the haters.
  5. Hey guys, just felt the need to share that if you add this friend on myspace and you are in the first 10,000 people to do so, your name will be in the credits of clerks 2. This is no joke, and I just felt the need to share it. I already did it. So go here, and add mooby as a friend. http://www.myspace.com/moobysclerks2
  6. that really happens, lol.
  7. Superman Returns- 7/10. Not as good as I thought it was gonna be.
  8. Its on thier myspace now. Yea, the leaked versions did suck!
  9. Yes!!! I'm glad everyone likes A bad dream. I think that's my favorite on the entire cd.
  10. I wish I had .000001% of the talent that matt has.
  11. It probly is chris. That does look like it could be his brother. Does chris have a brother? Graham, I know how you feel man. I got Guy's camera and it was the best night of my life. No great backstage pics like yours though. How did you get so close? You must have been very patient.
  12. Its not out. I found a "copy" online. Hush hush.
  13. Oh yea I completely agree. This is not their best, but there are some really, really good songs that make up for the ok ones. I wasnt really rating it on how many songs were great, but how I felt about the album as a whole.
  14. I know exactly how you feel. I couldnt have said it better.
  15. Arobtth was better because it felt more intimate. I remember tha concert well. I sas them at hard rock live in 2003. Orlando. It wasnt as big as ampitheaters and stadiums. It was smalller, and just...more intimate. Everyone who was there were fans, not like the concerts for the twisted logic tour where pretty much it was half really good fans like us and the rest just people pulled in by the hype. Those are my feelings about it.
  16. Ok, I know there are a million posts about muse. Sorry if this adds one more. I just felt the need to share with many people this review of Muse's latest cd. Now, I'm sure I havent heard the best quality of this cd, but its pretty good quality. I honestly only got into muse in the past year. I discovered Absolution last summer when I borrowed it from my friend. I listened to that cd almost every day during the summer. I was stupid not to look for their other cds until months later. I got Showbiz first, and I was somewhat disappointed only because it was different, but it grew on me very very fast. I then got Origin of Symmetry, and when I heard new born for the first time, I had to listen to it again and again. It was great. I downloaded soon after that a torrent with all their rare songs. I have heard most of their songs now and they are now up there with coldplay, oasis, the verve, and other favorite bands of mine. Anyway, you wanna know about the new cd right? I applaud all you people who havent yet downloaded the album. Much respect from me. I couldnt do it. I really wanted to, but I just couldnt wait. Anyway, I really like Supermassive Black Hole. I listen to that song a couple of times a day. Its an awesome song. Period. I then heard knights of cydonia from the download of their live show. It was good, but I took a while to get used to. I got the cd a couple days ago, and after listening to it many times, I figure its time to give a review. The cd starts off with what will surely be a muse classic. Take a bow just confirms the trend of muse having great opening songs. It starts off with a sci-fi organ like sound. Its great! When Matt's voice finally appears, the excitement builds. The whole song is one big buildup. Matt sings, "corrupt, you're corrupt, and bring corruption to all that you touch." When it finally ends with matt screaming, "BURN IN HELL, YEA YOU'll BURN IN HELL!" its brilliant. It ends an goes right into Starlight Starlight is a great second song. Its catchy, and is probably the most radio friendly song on the album. If it is ever a single it will be huge. Its just a sweet song, and the piano sounds great. When matt sings, "Hold you in my arms" in the last chorus, i got goosebumps. Supermassive Black Hole- Well, I already basically said it about this one. Its a great tune Map of the Problamatique- Part one in the triology of OKAYNESS. Another pretty good song. I'm sure most of you have heard it already. Although it is good, its the only song on the album that I feel is just allright. Its not awesome but not bad. Its kind of in the middle for me. Its a typical muse song. I think also what made me appreciate it less is the quality of the song. The one I downloaded didnt sound too good. Too soft. Soldier's Poem- Part two in the trilogy of OKAYNESS. A short, 2 minute acoustic song. Nothing really too special here. Its a good song. Its a nice song, but they could have made it into an epic song. When I first started listening to it, I just wish it lasted longer. Some cool lyrics are- "if you think you deserve your freedom, no I dont think you do." "There's no justice in the world, and there never was." Invincible- Part three in the trilogy of OKAYNESS. This song is probably the most unique on the cd. Its set to a band marching drum. Its a quiet song about uniting with each other to make the world a better place. "During the struggle they will pull us down, but please please lets use this chance to turn things around." It actually gets pretty good towards the end, and actually is better than ok now that I think about it. Assassin- Part one in the triology of Kickassery. Assassin starts with a frantic guitar and then kicks into high gear with a deadstar like riff. It then gets really good. The chorus is great. "Assassin is Born!" It starts great and ends great. A great heavy muse song. Exo-Politics- Part 2 in the trilogy of Kickassory. This one isnt as hard as assassin, but its still got a great riff and a really good chorus. It even has a cool alien sound to it. Matts voice is really great in this one. "And I'm waiting patiently, and I'll wait for the sign!" City of Delusion- Part 3 in the trilogy of Kickassery. Probably my second favorite on the entire cd. This song is just.....words cant describe how awesome it is. It starts out with acoustic guitar and then comes with some horns and has a very spanish feeling to it. Flamenco. When the chorus kicks in though, its probably matt's best vocals on the entire cd. Its a nice, long song. The chorus getting louder every time. The trumpet solo is really cool. "Destroy this city of delusion, and break these walls down." Hoodoo- To be honest, my least favorite song on the cd. It starts out really good with a fast spanish guitar, but then slows down, and kinda goes nowhere. Its 3 and a half minutes long, but it feels really short, and ends really quietly. Its no Unintended lets put it that way. Knights of Cydonia- Ok, this is it. This is a great, great song. Probably one of the best songs muse has ever made. Its my favorite on the entire cd. I'm sure most of you have already heard this one. It starts off like a space western, and ends in a blaze of fury. Its the most satisfying song on the album. Would have been a good opener. This is a muse classic as well. Allright, overall, a pretty good cd from muse. Some great songs, some ok, some just not that great. I'm not disappointed too much. The awesome songs make up for the lackluster ones. I'm sure they will grow in time though. Sorry for the long review though. I wanted to make one the best I could. Anyway, overall I'd give the cd 8/10. Knights of Cydonia makes it a 7/10 automatically, lol.
  17. I saw this last night. It was good. Not really good. Julia Stiles was god awful. She couldnt act in this movie, and Leiv Shriber didnt do to well either except towards the end. The kills were awesome though.
  18. hey guys. Have I missed anything. I havent been around as much.
  19. I actually dont like that song too much.
  20. Too many mutants, too short of a movie. Mystique is useless, angel has 2 lines, pyro and iceman do nothing. This movie is pretty much all about jean, wolverine, and magneto. All the other mutants had little to do. I was shocked how short this movie was, and how little screen time each character had. Cyclops was in the movie for 5 minutes. It wasnt really bad, it just wasnt very good. The scene at the end was awesome though. The scene basically was that Professor xavier wasnt really dead. He transferred his mind into the guy who was in a coma. The guy that xavier showed his students in the beginning of the movie.
  21. the first season finale was disappointing. This finale was AWESOME. Seriously the first season finale was one of the worst finales I have ever seen. I was so pissed.
  22. I saw it friday. I hadnt read the book, so I didnt have anything to complain about. I thought it was great.
