Right now, we should hope for a FULL concert to be shown on TV. That way we could all tape it, make our own DVDs, sell them on ebay...and that will show them!!! Collectively we'll all make SO much money. That'll be a way to change their minds! Dave

They switched it litterally a minute after I posted this. The DJ mentioned the mistake on air and said that he was originally going to play those songs, but changed his mind last minute for two better ones (good choice!) Dave

WXPN, a radio station based in Philadelphia is counting down the 885 greatest artists of all time (as voted on by the listeners) and Coldplay is #61!! Beating the likes of Aretha Franklin, Marvin Gaye, Queen, The Police, Oasis, AC/CD and many more!!!! This is an amazing position. Remember, it's not out of 100, it's 885!!!! They played 3 songs: Yellow, Politik, and Moses. But oddly enough the website says they played Yellow, Clocks and Talk (but they didn't...I'm listening to this right now) It was SO cool to hear Politik and Moses on the radio! They both sounded great! I was expecting to hear Clocks, Speed Of Sound, Fix You or Talk...but WXPN completely surprised me!!! If he/they really hated it, they wouldn't be performing songs off of them. Although there is a demand for Yellow, there isn't for Don't Panic, Trouble, or Everything's Not Lost which've all been performed live recently. Even Sparks and Shiver have gotten a little stage time in the past yr and a 1/2. They might think they've gotten so much better (and they have) since then, but I doubt Chris/the bad hate the album. It better be a full concert (2-Discs). If it's a one-disc crappy thing, I'll be pissed. They shouldn't cut out anything. And if they did, White Shadows will probably get cut! The rest of the songs are singles! Dave

Hmm...stranger things have happened, that's for sure. But the 4th album is soooo far off, I wouldn't even begin to think about it. They might (and probably will) write 11-13 songs that are a million times better than it to put on the album! I've always loved HYSTW, though. It should've been on the album. But, as far as single goes, it comes down to numbers. all 6 X&Y singles are way better than the song, but there's not much on, say, AROBTTH *SINGLE WISE* that could've beat it (outside of the 4 singles, and maybe Politik). Think about it...AROB is awesome, and all the other songs are BETTER than HYSTW, but can you honestly see Green Eyes or Warning Sign as a single? I can't, they're too good. Dave

I still miss Zayra... But either way. I'm glad to see Ryan go. Clocks just has to be sung in faucetto! There's no way around it really! Any attempt to do otherwise RUINS the song! I've always appreciated Chris, but after seeing all of the Rockstar performances, I've never appreciated him more! He really leaves his own mark on his songs that, it's officially been proven, that "nothing else compares" to! As for the show in total. Dilana and Magni are my favorites. 3rd is Storm, and 4th is Toby (not far behind)...in DEAD last it Lucas. The man can't sing! He's terrible. The only song I've liked from him all year was Rebel Yell, and Toby did 1000x better, so now that's even ruined!!! He'll probably make it to the end, but probably won't win! Who knows, though...I HATED JD last year, and he won! Dave

hmm... I just wanna know what Debs meant when she said that it's not happening. Is she talking about the release date, or the release itself. Because, the topic was about an October release date, not a DVD in general. So I'm confused now. It's weird because she closed the topic down...so I don't know. Well once people start making loads of money off of e-bay from selling recordings of the live concert, the label maybe will realize how incredibly STUPID this choice is! Why wouldn't they release it is all I wanna know!!! They have the fricken footage, and they'd make TONS of money off of a DVD!!! I'm really really really pissed that I won't be able to re-live the wonderful tour! It's just plain stupid, really. It's a terrible business move on the lable and Coldplay's part. I think we should sign a petition, but it won't get anybody anywhere. I doubt it would actually work. But if someone starts one, I'd be happy to add my name!!! Dave

WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT? Ryan's vocals were terrible, the arrangement was horrid. C'mon...he did the first 1/2 of the first verse, and the 2nd 1/2 of the 2nd verse...but not even connected!!! It sucked!!! The inro was kinda cool...but I like the intro CP used during the tour better. I hated it!!! Terrible vocals, horrible arrangement, but the band rocked! Dave

Hmm...I know that "The World Turned Upside Down" (my favorite CP b-side) charted in the US on the Pop 100 charts (different than the Hot 100)...it peaked at 76.
