Good news! It looks like there is going to be a video for White Shadows. That would be really cool if there was. They could do so much with this. I imagine a mix of Trouble and Fix You. Maybe if they incorporate some live footage in there, that would be awesome. Especially since the performance is a show-stopper. I don't want a completely live video, where they just overdub the album version over a live performance...although it would be better than nothing. I can't really tell by this if there will definately be one, but sounds like it. Debs didn't say there wouldnt be one! Judge for youself:

^^^^ Couldn't agree more! C'mon...no one can deny that it's an awesome song, they perform it really well, and it's single material. My only wish is that it be released internationally, and not just in Australia. I don't care personally, because I live in the US, and actually OZ CDs are cheaper and easier to find than UK imports, but I do wish it would get bigger attention. Like at least a video. Even if they just layered the single version (whether it be remixed like What If, or Edited like Talk or Fix You, or even just the album version) over live footage, it's better than nothing! I'm hoping US radio will pick it up, at least. It could definatley top the Modern Rock Charts...or even hit the Hot 100 (unlikely). Dave

I am personally offended by that statment: as a Coldplay fan, and as an American citizen. It's like someone saying they wish Britney Spears was killed in the London Bombings. Hm... yeah, I am pretty sure it's gonna be live b-sides. Probably only one. But which one. If it's Politik, Clocks, In My Place, Yellow, or Fix You...I;ll be pissed. We have enough of those. I'd like Low or Warning Sign from the early part of the tour, or Don't Panic or X&Y from the later part of the tour. I just want something we don't have. HYSTW was nice to have. But if it's a repeat of anything we have in the past...I'll be angry. Even if it's a live version of White Shadows, it's a step up. What songs have been done on the tour that we dont have official live versions of? Don't Panic (there's one, I believe, and it's pretty rare), X&Y, Warning Sign, Low, What If?, White Shadows, The Hardest Part, Speed Of Sound, Ring Of Fire, The Scientist (only one...this version's a bit different too). Any of those would be nice, for me. I'll still buy the single no matter what, as WS is my favorite song of all time! Dave

Any predictions on the color? I say black. It really fits the song. We already have red, green, white, purple, & blue...what's left? I guess it could be Yellow or Orange, but I think that black fits the song better. Anyone know? There should be promos floating around soon. I can't wait for more info!!!! Dave

I actually love Zayra. Besides being kinda really hot, she's orignal. You've gotta respect that. No one else there is the LEAST bit original. As for the CP stuff. My favorite is Magni (Clocks), second is Matt (Yellow), and Lucas (Don't Panic) is in way last! All three, IMO, were terrrible, but the band rocked with Clocks! And Matt did pretty good with Yellow, just really different from Chris, and he didn't use any faucetto, so it just sounded really weird. Dave

YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have been pushing for this to be a single even before Fix You was released!!!! I am SOOO excited!!!!! Oh, and I'll be surprised if HYSTW is a b-side, as it's already the b-side to THP which was released in Australia. I wouldn't bank on a new track, but maybe a live track, or something like a Talk remix or TLA Mix of What If or something that's already been released. I'd be really surprised if HYSTW is the b-side, but then again, this IS Coldplay. Really excited for an official announcement on .com in the news section. Hope this doesn't fall through or anything. Wow, I've never heard of it. Sounds official, too. I'd love to hear it. Unless it was pressed on some sort of promo, though, it might never leak...might be officially released later though. Sounds awesome! Their Clocks mix is one of my favorite remixes ever! Dave

For a song to be a "b-side" it has to be on some sort of single format that is not the a-side. For me, I would use of them minus the live tracks and any alternate versions. I actually thought it was funny. Now, I love Yellow, and I don't think it needs to make sense. I think it's like a coloring book where you can make anything you want yellow. I think it's just a variable for what ever the listener wants it to be/Chris wants it to be. I think the song makes perfect sense, but that's under my interpretation. Someone else's idea of what the song's about might make no sense at all. I don't find it offensive. It's just someone's opinion, you gotta respect that. Dave

They've released 3 albums!!! They haven't exactly been around for years like when the Beatles split! They're still a really young band, believe it or not. No-one calls it quits this early! Especially when they're this successful! If anyone believes this...I'm sorry, but you're kinda gullible, and you've never heard Chris speak...ever. He's always kidding! And people should realize that in 50 years, the band members might not even be alive...so obviously he's kidding! Dave

since when was this a b-side? it's just a cover song. There have been no b-sides performed on the tour. Well, arguably "How You See The World"...but that's only cos a LIVE version was put as a b-side to The Hardest Part and What If singles. So when it was performed, it wasn't performed as a b-side. I don't count it as one. Dave

I agree! I've been pushing for White Shadows to be released since the day I've heard it! C'mon, though...it's like leaving GPASUYF as just an album track! It's just not right. It's been done at every single show of the Twisted Logic Tour. Although making a few apearances at the beginning and at the end of the tour, What If has not, and The Hardest Part ABSOLUTELY has not been done alot. IMO, White Shadows is the best song on the album...but aside from that, it's a fan favorite, it's radio friendly, it's ORIGINAL, and it's been performed alot (thus built in promo for it)! I know it'll never get a release now...unless they decide to release a 6th single... I just hope they'll continue to perform it live (which they probably won't). It's a crime to leave it on the album! Dave

^^ Didn't you see the CD single...it's obviously has been released. The promos are in a cardboad case with the embossed code in it. Also, there are no b-sides. Not in a slimline with a printed cover...it's been released. Dave

Nothing against Debs or anything, but it's obvious that it's been released...I'd really like some official announcement as to what countries it's been released in, etc. That's all.
