  1. Nah. Twisted Logic only had one encore. And the show was still short. Excellent, but short. But there's no excuse for a short show now. They're on their 4th album, and like I said earlier, they ARE the biggest band in the world. They have alot of well known songs (Yellow, IMP, The Scientist, Clocks, SOS, Fix You, Talk), a host of live favorites (Politik, anyone?), and...ehem...a new album (currently the biggest in the world) with two MASSIVE singles off it. They should be doing well over 20 songs a night. C'mon, guys. This better just be a warmup. Dave
  2. Yeah, that's true. But you'd figure they'd want to test out more songs before the tour starts. It's been basically the same batch of songs. You know at some point they're gonna be doing more tracks than just this. Especially the new tracks. I highly doubt these are the ONLY ones they're gonna do from VLVODAAHF. As good as this set is, when I see them in Philly, I really hope there're more songs! Dave
  3. Are you serious? Same setlist. Arugh. I'm sure the show was outstanding, though. I mean...it is Coldplay. But still... Dave
  4. SETLIST? PLEASE Tell me it was a longer show... Dave
  5. I really hope their set is longer tonight. I don't see any point in another 17-song long concert. At this point in their career, especially since they very litterally ARE the biggest band in the entire world, (let's be honest...they are holding the top spots for both singles and albums in the two biggest music markets on planet Earth), they should be doing upwards of 23 songs a night. AT least they should be doing all of their biggest hits. I mean...Speed Of Sound and Talk missing from the lastest shows? That's appauling. I mean, of course I'd prefer to hear stuff like Spies, White Shadows, Warning Sign, etc...but at least all of their big hits should be included! Especially the ones from their last album. So, in the end, I'm praying tonight they go all out. It's MSG for Christ's sake! Make it worth it! Dave
  6. I haven't gotten anything at all. Arugh! Dave
  7. I think they're all good, personally. I saw Don't Panic done acousticly at the beginning of the tour, and electric at the end...and they were both amazing in their own right. Swallowed In The Sea is also amazing...not the best live, but definatley one of their best songs. As for Trouble...I like the acoustic version alot, but I much prefer the full version. But if it's included, I'm happy. The song I would go with would probably be Til Kingdom Come. Now I love the song, and everything. And as a reoccuring song in the set, it's fine. But every show? Not for me, personally. I find the live performances to be very boring. Maybe it's because it's in comparison to Clocks, White Shadows, Square One, etc, which have amazing performances, but it just seems anticlimactic. Don't get me wrong, I love the song, but it just seems to stop the show (in a bad way). Dave

I could go on forever: Too Far Dreams Confide In Me Take Me With You Light Years Butterfly Come Into My World (Fischerspooner Remix) Giving You Up Where The Wild Roses Grow sooo many more, just can't think of em Dave
  9. I think the timing is off on the video. If you listen, there is a short moment of silence...that's probably when he fell (and in true Chris fasion, kept going lol) But there are parts to their shows that are not live (parts of S1, SOS, WS, etc). But this is because there is only 4 members of the band. This is why the setlist wasn't as flexible this past tour. Dave
  10. That order is awesome!!!! White Shadows after Yellow works great!!! And the last 3 songs being Scientest, SOS, and Fix You...what a way to end the show!!! And of course HIGH SPEED!!! That's my favorite song from Parachutes!!! Dave
  11. Green Eyes and Rush Of Blood...cool! Interesting to see Talk in the encore, too. Dave
  12. White Shadows stayed!!!! Yay!!!!!! That's AWESOME! That's the one song I was affraid would get booted! And SPARKS!!! That's AWESOME!!! ...but where's the new stuff? Thanks for posting Dave
  13. I'd like them to try some electronic-type stuff. Nothing full out dance, just a taste. They'd be so good at that! I'd also like some mid-90s Britpop inspired material. That would also be really cool. But I'm up for anything at this point, really. I'm really open to new sounds for them now. They've established their "Coldplay" sound, and now it's time to move on. Dave
  14. I like that tracklist and all, but where're Proof, Animals, and Sleeping Sun? I'd much rather them not have included How You See The World (Live) in order to fit one of the other ones. Plus, I don't like the fact that Pour Me isn't with it's proper single. They could've almost put THP and WI? on one 7". Also, it's nice to see the whole Blue Room EP on there, but I think they could've cut it down in order to fit more. Dave
  15. It's what you said. Maybe it's "around" 15 singles, I dunno. I'm just going along with the info given. Dave
  16. Wonder what the 15 singles will be? I can only come up with 14, and a couple of them are a bit of a stretch (ie B&S, WI?): 1. Brothers & Sisters 2. Shiver 3. Yellow 4. Trouble 5. Don’t Panic 6. In My Place 7. The Scientist 8. Clocks 9. God Put A Smile 10. Speed Of Sound 11. Fix You 12. Talk 13. The Hardest Part 14. What If? unless of course they want to add Moses or White Shadows or something, I don't know. should be exciting! Dave
  17. Whether it's part of the TL Tour or not, I don't know...but I'm assuming the setlist will be similar. They might cut out a few of the album tracks and replace them with new songs. That's my guess. I'm guessing songs like Clocks and The Scientist will still be performed the same way they were on TL, but maybe in different places, etc. And who knows, maybe they'll just extend the setlist with new songs and keep everything intact Dave
  18. Whether it's true or not, I don't know...but it isn't farfetched. X&Y came out in mid-2004. Three years in between albums is a good amount of time. Yes, they've been in the public eye ever since X&Y, but I'm pretty sure they've been working on music during this time. Too much of a break this time around could hurt them. They're a hot group right now, and nowhere near overkill yet. Dave

  20. Hey, a nomination is a really big honor!!! The fact that they were considered is a big deal. They won't win, though. I have a feeling RHCP will have a clean sweep this year. It's just a hunch. Dave
  21. Ok, now I'm officially pissed off!!! 1) No annoucement 2) No full concert WHAT THE HECK! Somebody complain! Dave
  22. I'd be interested to see what old songs they do. Yellow, Clocks, Fix You, Speed Of Sound, and In My Place are shoe-ins...but I'd love to see White Shadows, Politik, What If?, Don't Panic, etc. still get some stage time. I'd also like to see different setlists. The Twisted Logic tour was great, but each set was predictable. Only 1-2 songs changed night to night. Dave
  23. I think that either a) they're waiting until after the tour is COMPLETELY over until a DVD is released or b) they want to use the Latin American footage for the DVD. Dave
