i did not find it scary at all. it was quite disgusting, much to my delight. ~~~~Spoilerage for those who have not seen it and inted to~~~~ i was really upset that the guy did not cut his eye out to save his life. i don't know, maybe it is because i am half blind (by choice from my surgery) but damn, if that was on my head, i would pop that sucker out in a second. so KUDOS to the crazy guy who sliced off a piece of his neck to get the number. THAT is dedication. i think i could do it. come on, that's your life your messing around with. maybe that makes me a terrible person, but i'd be an alive person.
  12. i love this book. i can't believe that someone posted about it! you should be able to get it online. my brother got it for his boyfriend in a regular bookstore, no problem. my sister took my copy though.

What Sarah Said~ Death Cab For Cutie And it came to me then that every plan Is a tiny prayer to father time As I stared at my shoes in the ICU That reeked of piss and 409 And I rationed my breaths as I said to myself That I’ve already taken too much today As each descending peak on the LCD Took you a little farther away from me Away from me Amongst the vending machines and year-old magazines In a place where we only say goodbye It stung like a violent wind that our memories depend On a faulty camera in our minds And I knew that you were a truth I would rather lose Than to have never lain beside at all And I looked around at all the eyes on the ground As the TV entertained itself ‘Cause there’s no comfort in the waiting room Just nervous pacers bracing for bad news And then the nurse comes ‘round and everyone lift their heads But I’m thinking of what Sarah said That love is watching someone die So who’s gonna watch you die? *weird side note: in May, i had brain surgey (two actually) to try to 'fix' my epilepsy. Sara is my given name, so when i got this CD, i listened to this song first, obviously. it scared the hell out of me. there was too many similarities in it, i actually contemplated returning the CD.

  20. exactly! i happen to think that Morning View was a dissappointment. :(
  21. Dave Matthews Band I didn't see any thread about them, so I wanted to go ahead and start one. Are there any fans? I know that they do not tour internationally on a regular basis, but for those who have seen them, they put on a great show. I am going to my 20th and 21st show in December, and I am extremely happy, especially because I have 4th row seats for them. Any other fans of their music? :guitarist:
  22. problem is most people did not know of them before Drive was released as a single. Sure, New Skin was released off of S.C.I.E.N.C.E., but it is not even the most solid song off the album. I think if they would have released A Certain Shade of Green they would have started better. But besides that, the fact that Pardon Me was not picked up until after Drive became popular created an illusion of their music, I believe. which is why Morning View is so popular. ACLOTM IS a step back towards their old sound AS WELL AS their old lyrical style, and i am hoping to see them go further in this new album.
  23. Six Feet Underground~ No Doubt One~ Aimee Mann and Kudos for all the DMB songs!!! you beat me to it!!!
  24. so so true... next watches law and order
