Today, Nelson Valdez (Werder Bremen) will kick England's ass! :P Ok, not really, my bet is 3:1. ;) But it's sooooo hot here in Germany. I think it's an advantage for Paraguay.

Hehe, ah now I understand. I think tomorrow I will prefer going to the beach instead of watching England-Paraguay. ;)

Berrywoman, why can't you watch the games? I think ESPN2 and ABC are showing World Cup matches in the United States or is it Pay-TV? Well, there is a Serbian tv-station called RTS1 and RTS2 (which was bombed by the NATO in 1999 by the way) and they will broadcast some matches in the internet. For more information click... http://presretac.rts.co.yu/ Great game of Ecuador, they played very well. But I'm a bit sad, because I've some Polish colleagues at work and they were so optimistic before the game. :(

4:2 !!! What an interesting game! Some facts... Miroslav Klose = Football God (I always said it before!) Phillipp Lahm's goal (dream goal!!!) Torsten Frings (another amazing goal) At least 3 goals of players playing for Werder Bremen :wink3: Ok, the defense wasn't good (Lehmann also had an injury), but the referee neither. Ecuador's second goal was offside! A good referee MUST see it! But it wasn't an easy game for the German squad, because the whole nation celebrate this tournament. Anyway, I'm content with that game. It reminds me of the Confederations Cup last year. It felt so nice when Germany scored the goals. All neighbours were screaming. Later we had a great barbecue with all family members, it was a sunny day and now there is just an incredible sunset again. Nice day! :nice: I just watched the first half of Poland-Ecuador. I said it before... for me Ecuador is my favourite in group A to reach the next round. They bet Brazil and Argentinia during World Cup qualification, although it took place 4000 meters above NN. I'm looking forward to see Ecuador-Germany in Berlin in two weeks. :wink3:

In Germany only 8 games will be broadcast exclusively on Premiere (Pay-TV) which will show all 64 games live and in a conference. Thank God, my parents have Premiere. :nice: But ARD, ZDF and RTL (all Free-TV channels) will show 56 of 64 matches live. That's amazing. I will watch Germany-Costa Rica on ZDF, because the commentators are better. ;) Today, I bought some German flags for both cars and for the garden! All neigbours around me have a German flag either. It's so crazy! Ahh, can't wait, I'm so excited. :)

Which country will win the 2006 FIFA World Cup??

Shepherd's Bush was also the place where terrorists wanted to use another bomb a few days after 7/7. :( I still remember that I was shocked about it when I heard it. Which station is the closest one to your home Ophelie?
-
For Coldplay section's chatterers !
In London on my first trip it was "Shepherd's Bush", on my second trip "Lancaster Gate" and in Paris I only remember "Louvre Rivoli". :P Strange I still know the tube stations...
-
For Coldplay section's chatterers !
Yeah, the "Metro" in Paris wasn't as complicated as the tube in London. But I was also a bit surprised... in London and Paris you always have to put your ticket into the machine in the Underground stations. In Berlin or Hamburg you don't have to do it, so it's very easy to use the tube without a ticket. :P

Hehe, I don't have insects at the beach besides the river Weser. :D :P But Autan is good! Wow, Ophelie it sounds soo great! And I also visited so many places you just wrote about, for example "Camden Market" (the Asian food there is delicious), Embankment, London Eye etc. I want to go back to London! :) And the tube is really complicated. In Berlin or Hamburg every line has got a number, in London the lines only have names like "Victoria Line" or "Central Line". On my first trip I also took the wrong line lol. But I hope a sentence still stuck in your mind Ophelie... "MIND THE GAP"! :P

Football songs
German World Cup Songs... - Bob Sinclair Feat. Goleo - Love Generation (God, I hate it! Radio stations are playing it over and over again) - Herbert Grönemeyer - Zeit, dass sich was dreht (just awful) - Oliver Pocher - Schwarz und weiß (it's always playing when Germany will score a goal) - Sportfreunde Stiller - '54, '74, '90, 2006 (my favourite; it was so amazing at "Rock am Ring" :nice:)

Yeah, that whistling thing is awful. :P Therese, how is the weather right now in Sweden? Do you have days in June where it isn't dark in the night? :) I just look out and it's still a bit light in the North. Edit: Oh, she went off! Hm, I'll do the same right now! Kara, I hope you'll have an amazing time with your friend, Steph, Nettie, fudge... and last but not least with Coldplay! Can't wait to hear all your experiences and to see all your pictures and videos! Good night! :nice:
