Also Hong Kong ist auf jeden Fall ne Reise wert! Wohnen könnte ich da aber wohl nicht obwohl ich Großstadtleben liebe, da mir Hong Kong dann doch etwas zu groß ist. Glaub 7,5 Mio. Einwohner hat Hong Kong und wenn diese sich mal alle bewegen (wie es am Silvesterabend der Fall war) ist es nicht sonderlich schön. Ich kannte diese Bilder wo Menschen in U-Bahnen gepresst wurden bisher nur aus dem Fernsehen. :D War aber total interessant mal eine andere Kultur kennen zulernen (haben uns auch einige Tempel angeguckt). Zudem wird man öfter mit chinesischen Buchstaben oder Zeichen konfrontiert als ich erwartet hätte, da Hong Kong noch bis 1997 englisch war. Als nächstes will ich aber wohl nach New York oder Sydney! :D

Naja mein Bruder meinte, als da im Oktober Nationalfeiertag war, war das Feuerwerk 5X so groß, von daher... ;) Die Chinesen sind sowieso nur so lustig... sobald eine Rakete am Himmel ist machen alle "ooooohhhh aaaaaaaaahhh" als ob die sowas noch nie gesehen haben! :D Find ich ja gut, dass ihr in Bremen gefeiert habt. Im Studentenwohnheim besuche ich ab und zu auch ein paar Freunde. Wie lang habt ihr denn gefeiert? Ja den alten Flughafen haben wir uns auch einmal kurz angeguckt. Bin echt froh, dass wir da nicht landen mussten.

Hong Kong war total klasse! Hab alles gesehen was ich sehen wollte! Hätt aber gedacht, dass mehr Menschen Englisch sprechen. Man merkt halt schon, dass China nach der Übernahme 1997 langsam versucht die Sprache etwas zu verdrängen. Manche Tempel sind einfach nur gigantisch. Ein Tag war ich auch noch auf Macau, also in dieser ehemaligen portugiesischen Kolonie, die 1999 wieder an China ging. Ich kam mir plötzlich vor wie in Südeuropa! Hab da auf der neugebauten Insel auch das nachgebaute Venedig besucht. War alles sehr aufregend. Der Flughafen in Hong Kong ist toll, auch wenn das mit der Insel echt seltsam aussieht. Aber wenn man mit der Autobahn von dort aus in die City will, fährt man auf der größten Hängebrücke der Welt. Ich weiß nicht woher die das ganze Geld haben. :D Das Feuerwerk war in Ordnung, aber nicht sonderlich groß, da die Chinesen ihr Neujahr halt erst am 9. Februar feiern! Was habt ihr denn in Bremen gemacht? Hab auch keine Vorsätze, will nur in ne Großstadt und was anständiges studieren! :D

Great draw! Austria, Poland and Croatia... it could be a lot worse! Good to know that we will play our first game against Poland in Klagenfurt while the other two matches will take place in Vienna. Wonderful city!! Hope we won't see a second "Cordoba" against Austria haha! :)

Went to the stadium last evening to watch Werder Bremen - Real Madrid... and we won 3:2 without Wiese, without Frings, without Diego! :) I'm sooo happy! By the way, when will Italian teams be banned from the European championships at last? Terrible pictures again in Rome... :dozey::angry: And finally my favourite picture of yesterday's matches... Haha!

A famous newspaper here took the following headline today: Olic and Petric are playing for Hamburg and Dortmund. ;) Well, it's really hard to imagine a tournament without England. Even if the squad didn't deserve to be qualified I feel sorry for all the English people who are totally football mad. Perhaps they will get Klinsmann or Capello as a new coach. That would be amazing. :) Anyway, I'm so happy that Germany didn't win yesterday against Wales, because then we would have been in pot 1 due to the 1:2 defeat of the Netherlands in Belarus. Cannot wait 'til the drawing and to be able to book my journey to Vienna.

You probably have the second best league worldwide (after Spain), but the price you pay for it is the fact that your national team became extremely weak. Last year during World Cup you could see that they might get a few problems in the near future. For me it seems that you're now at a point where Germany has been in 2000. We had nearly the same problem (old players, talented players who didn't get a chance to play in the Bundesliga), although we qualified for the tournament. Now it's important that more and more young players are getting chances to play in the Premier League. Take your chance to create a new team and you'll have no problem to play in South Africa in 2010 that's for sure. To be honest I'm more sorry about Scotland than England, because their squad really deserved to be qualified. Not every team won at Stade de France...

I just watched this race and it was one of the most exciting ones since a long time. I really wanted Kimi Raikkonen to become champion and mercifully he did at the end. He deserves it so much, congratulations! Poor Hamilton, but I'm sure he'll become champion sooner or later. He's very young and talented. Anyway, not a good weekend for UK in general, eh?! :rolleyes:
